They are liars and don’t care about you or anyone buy them selves.
Chris kapisak has no clue how To show any compassion or even act like he cares about the customer or anyone in general. Don’t go here ever. Any other boat shop is better than this place. Once Gary Nelson no longer owned this place it just went down hill and that is because of the kapisak’s.
In general there not good people and don’t deserve your money.

Compared fishing boats and dealers in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area in 2018 and got a good deal from Nelson Marine. When discussing experiences with other members of my fishing club, I found that most had problems with their new boats and even more problems getting their dealers to address those problems. We had no significant issues with our boat even with quite complicated electronics. The one issue we did have (a power drain with an ethernet connection between depth finders even when both units were off) was fixed in two days after reporting the problem. Just purchased our 2020 Lund 1675 Adventure SS! Love it!!! Our sales guy Matt was very nice and went through everything with me when I picked it up and he was even nice enough to hook it up to my truck for me since my husband was at work and wasnt with. Gail in finance was very nice and friendly. The guys at the front counter though they could use a little mood booster...not friendly at all. Thanks Matt and Gail!!! We love our boat!

They were so knowledgeable and helpful! We needed a part replaced on our boat trailer. We called a few places that said they didn’t really do what we needed. Nelson Marine offered to sell us the part we needed. When it was clear we are very novice boat owners, they offered to come take a look and help us through the task! Everyone was very friendly, but especially Kevin. Would absolutely recommend Nelson Marine for outstanding costumer service.

I recently bought a boat, motor and trailer from Nelson Marine, after looking for the past 2 months. Dan P. who helped me, was immensely knowledgeable, honest, and prompt in returning my countless e-mails and calls.His experience and pointing me in the right direction was something I greatly appreciated during my decision making. The service people who I met were also more than ready to answer my questions and really made me feel at ease. I've worked with a few dealerships in the past and really appreciate the way these guys worked for my business. Like the other reviews said, they're patient throughout the process and help you weigh your options without steering you down a path you don't want to go down. They take care of the details you're not accustomed to dealing with, and order up and configure boats the way you'd want them put together, not the way that would give them the greatest margin or have you end up with substandard equipment.

I purchased a Lund 1850 Impact XS this past fall. I have nothing but good things to say about the entire process. Buying a boat like this is a big decision and I felt completely comfortable throughout the process. I went back to their location multiple times and sat in different boats for hours.
