Our new system allows us to verify our patients' prescriptions efficiently. With the refractor, our doctor can sit a few feet away from you so you can have more breathing room. We include this as part of our comprehensive eye examination. This technology aids in the detection of diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and other vision-threatening conditions.

Dr. Julie grew up in northern Minnesota. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Carleton College in Northfield, MN. She then earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry from the University of North Dakota. Dr. Julie worked as a research scientist at the University of Maryland and at the University of Kansas.
