A Wheaton area wedding and portrait photographer who photographs all around the Chicago area and loves to travel. In addition to being a Disney enthusiast, organizational whiz and lover of all furry animals, I'm honestly just a big kid at heart. And while people teasingly call me a Disney Princess, I am definitely more of a Moana then a Sleeping Beauty.

A wedding and portrait photographer based in the Wheaton area who works throughout Chicago as well as worldwide. For as long as I can remember I have always been around a camera. Growing up, my Mom was a big documenter of life freezing childhood moments in prints and recording videos. For my ninth birthday I received my first camera.
On your wedding day I want to be more than just a photographer you hired. I will be your dress fluffer, drink fetcher, family member finder and so much more. I want to get to know you both leading up to your wedding day, so that on one of the most important days in your life you feel relaxed and comfortable with me by your side.
Joy is an absolute dream to work with for every type of photo session. She has done almost all of our big family milestones - from engagement and wedding photos to maternity and family photos. We keep returning to her for our photo sessions because we fall in love with every session more than the previous.

I didn't know what to expect because I had never worked with a professional photographer before, but Joy created such a fun and laid back environment.

My husband and I cannot be happier with the choice of photographer. Joy and her team were absolutely amazing to work with. We started with our engagement session back in 2019 and couldn't be happier with the forest preserve Joy suggested for our location to shoot - it was perfect. When the pandemic hit and threw a wrench in our initial plans, Joy was extremely accommodating and we were able to reschedule both our bridal shower and wedding to fit our mutual schedules. For our shower, Joy captured all the candid moments from my husband styling the lingerie as we opened gifts to my mom giving a heartwarming

Every Bride needs a JOY! From day 1 I knew joy was going to be the perfect fit. She was so easy to work with and the absolute sweetest! Joy did our engagement photos and they turned out amazing. She even got my husband to smile in photos which NEVER happens!!! We sadly had to change our wedding date due to Covid and thankfully joy had our new date open!! She made changing our date so easy, it was one thing we didn't need to stress about. At our wedding half of my bridesmaids who were married said they wish they had joy as their photographer! Everything about Joy and her team is perfect. Joy is kind, caring and really wants your wedding day to be magical. From the engagement pictures to walking us through everything, Joy made this process not only easy but fun! Joy was insightful when helping us make our picture schedule for our wedding day and even answered our questions that were unrelated to photography. The moment I saw Joy’s photos from my cousin’s wedding 3 years ago, I knew we had to hire her! We literally COULD NOT be happier that we trusted Joy to photograph our engagement session and our wedding day on 10/02/2021. Joy knows exactly what to do to make it beautiful, and she does it every single time. My husband and I were initially very anxious about wedding/couples photography because we are not great photo takers and didn’t want it to look too staged. Having Joy as our wedding photographer was just as important, if not more important, to us than choosing a venue. As we narrowed down venues we reviewed our date options and I immediately checked them with Joy for her availability. I chose Joy to be my wedding photographer, and it was the BEST decision I could have ever made. As a photographer myself, choosing someone to capture your wedding day is a bit scary in some ways. As a photographer who doesn't like having her photos taken, it brings a whole additional set of complications to the table. I honestly went into the wedding day, hoping to have maybe a dozen or so photos that I loved, and you know what? I loved EVERY. SINGLE. ONE! Even all of the images of myself. Moments that meant the world to me - she captured them perfectly. Portraits I thought for sure were a bust
