Hailing from the island of Antigua and growing up on St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, Blacks (Dwayne Samuel) as he is often called, grew up in the world of music. This environment included him taking music lessons, being exposured to steel pans and relatives in all aspects of music. As a veteran DJ, he has been successful in playing for a wide range of customers and an equally broad range of genres.
Born in the metropolitan city of Atlanta, Georgia, our youngest dj, Dj Tonic (Jojo Thompson) comes from a long family history of music and percussion. As the son of Dj Kavalier, he was exposed to the world of DJing and became passionate about learning the craft. Since the age of thirteen, he has been developing his skills and has increased his popularity and respect rather quickly amongst his peers and adults alike.
Originally from St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, he developed his passion for music through the rich multi-culture of the Caribbean. Being multi-lingual has allowed him to better understand music from different genres and appreciate them equally. Jimmy has been making people dance at corporate events, birthday parties, house parties, weddings and clubs since 1999.
DJ P (Patrick Adams) was born and raised in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. Patrick started he Djingcareer in his High School days and continued throughout is College days. Upon graduation he took a short hiatus from Djing to concentrate on his professional career. Upon returning to Djing in the Virgin Islands and Atlanta he has arrived at where we are today with the Ankah.
This Dj takes you on a musical journey everytime he plays. Growing up in The U.S. Virgin Islands, Dj Doctor J (Pat Cunningham) became fascinated with the art of Djing at the age of 15. He was so intrigued by the combinations of songs, sounds and blends that the Djs would play at parties he attended and the effect it would have on the crowd.
