Such a beautiful theatre. The building is still standing and it has such a relaxing atmosphere. Becks & David are great too, they looked after myself and the company I was with when we hired the space a couple of weeks back. Hopefully one day, I'll get a chance to see a performance at the South London Theatre or better yet, even perform there... who knows.

This theatre can certainly teach larger venues about how to manage life ‘post COVID’. An email tells you what time to arrive, depending on your seat. You are welcomed as you come through the door & everything is clearly explained. After the show there is a separate way out. Top class SLT. Oh the show. Well SLT puts on quality productions and The Water Harvest was another one. If you live locally, love theatre but are still a bit anxious about going to the West End then visit SLT. You won’t be disappointed

SLT is a one of the best kept secrets of South London. It has a real 'family' feel to it. So much love, time and energy is poured into it freely by local folk as has been the case since the 60's. We've seen two shows here so far and both times it was a delight. They were recently awarded a lottery grant so now have a lovely bar downstairs.

I have been here once to perform during the feast weekend. But, it didn't attract much crowd being an Indian Dance Performance (despite being free) . However, the crowd was very receptive and appreciative (those who attended). Conveniently located next to the station this is a very lucrative venue which also has a bar. During the performance they had children's activities which the little ones enjoyed.

Went to see a drama exam performance and the staff at the venue were brilliant. It is a very small theatre and gets hot so take a fan. There is a bar but it's down steep stairs so be careful.once you get down the prices are not bad it's a limited selection but then most theatre bars are. This used to be a fire station and they have kept some of the features to make it a venue with a difference.
