Services
On Stage is located in Cedar City and in St. George, Utah and is under the Artistic Direction/Ownership of Heather Sprouse Madison. On Stage emphasizes teaching correct dance technique, team building, and promoting self-esteem, in a positive environment. On Stage teaches jazz, lyrical, ballet, tap, hip hop, modern, acro for ages 2 years and older.
Our Twinkle Star program is for 2-7 year olds Technique is covered in ballet, tap, jazz, and acro. All of these serve a purpose; ballet is the foundation for all dance, tap introduces musicality and rhythm while developing coordination, and acro builds muscles and improves gross motor skills.
Requirements: any choice of dance attire (just not distracting to student-no jeans or street clothes), black tap and ballet shoes (not ballet slippers must be ballet shoes, ties must be tied and cut off or tucked in for class).

The foundation of all dance forms, ballet takes you into the world of classical music and teaches discipline and grace for all dancers. Technique-based training is offered from a young level, teaching correct placement and knowledge of the body as a fine-tuned instrument. Requirements: Capezio Black camisole leotard, convertible theatrical pink tights, and Sansha pink split sole canvas ballet shoes.
Acro is the beautiful fusion of the artistic motion of dance and the athleticism of acrobatics. Acro is not the same as gymnastics. An Acro must complete all of the skills on the hard stage without the advantage of a sprung floor, while seamlessly integrating musicality, emotional expression, extension, control and line.
This program is specifically for dancers whose main goal is to pursue dance in high school and those considering higher education in dance or making dance a profession. Dancers will study technique and artistry; emphasizing versatility in all styles of jazz, contemporary and lyrical. Company dancers are 1st-12th grades.

My daughter took classes a few years back at another dance studio in Cedar but it wasn't the best experience. As a result, sadly, she stopped going since she lost the interest in dance. My daughter loves to dance though. Luckily, we found On Stage Dance Studio almost a year ago and she's loved! She has advanced so much in just the few months she's been here. This is a great place to bring your kiddos!
