We ordered carry out. the fried rice was over cooked to the point of being crunchy and hard. the fried shrimp noodles that I got was worse 😩. the shrimp were hard cut up little pieces and tasted old and still had the vein in some of the pieces. 🤮 I think 1 star is too good for the food that we got today!

Fuji has great food and a nice atmosphere. But portions are very inconsistent. Paid 22$ for a hibachi combination and got a child size portion of everything. Went there for lunch a week prior got the hibachi lunch and got double the food for half the price…. Our party was rather large and portions might have been miscalculated. 8 small pieces of steak, a decent amount of chicken, a decent amount of veggies, and less than a cup of fried rice. Very weird…. If dinner for two people costs 75$ I want to leave full.

I ordered pickup from here tonight. I told them no wasabi or ginger with the sushi. They put ginger in the container and it was drenched in some kind of wasabi sauce. Normally I wouldn't make a huge deal if it and just pick the rice off that was near the ginger or wasabi. I couldn't get the sauce off because it soaked into the rice. I called them and told them the order was messed up and asked if they could remake it. They told me no and that the only thing they could do was give me a 2 dollar credit. I don't even live around here so it's pointless. It would've cover anything

We call ahead to place our order and they told us about 45 mins. We get there alil early, so I call to see about how much longer on our order. She told me another 45 mins. Alittle upset, mainly super hungry. I said that's fine and continued to wait. About 45 mins later, called again. She said it'd still be acouple mins. At this point, I'm ready to leave. After finally getting the food, the veggies that came with our meals were raw. Our noodles, chicken, and shrimp were all cold. The only thing that was hot was the soup. Their sushi is hit or miss on several occasions they had fresh fish that tasted great but on several others the fish was really bad the last time I was there the fish was still frozen when it was served to me, it was just a block of ice sashimi. That being said I had great experiences before that time. I agree with the other people who wrote reviews tHe service is not good I always feel like the person who answers the phone is yelling at me and she hung up on me in the middle of my order.

I placed a take out order that my husband picked up & they didn't give us our udon noodles but we didn't notice until he got home. I called and they said they would give us a credit for $10.99 to use whenever we want and took my name and phone number & I asked if I needed to have the receipt and she said no that it's written down under our name. So we call to use the credit, and they say there is nothing written in the book and we can't get anything unless we have a receipt. I gave them the exact date and time and they still won't give it to us. So we're out

Our first visit to Fuji was a success, and we'll be back to try more. The building itself isn't the fanciest, and admittedly, it felt a little dark and outdated. Our part of the dining area was super loud, although I think that was more due to the table of three across the room using their "I'm in an airplane hangar voice" rather than the restaurant itself.
With all this said, though, we enjoyed our experience overall. We tried the shrimp sumai as an appetizer and loved them. We also ordered three special rolls (New York, Osaka, and Naruto), and they were all fantastic

Very much a nice surprise, sashimi was pretty good and the fried stuff they had wasn't oily at all. Miso soup was lightly salty but delicious, service was quick and the two other people who came with liked it as well. As a person who eats sushi all the time in Houston, I've had worse and this is pretty good.

On a whim today we tried Fuji. We are big fans of Hibachi, have eaten at this style of restaurant from Pikeville to Louisville. While the menu doesn't often vary -- the taste does. Fuji really has flavor depth that some do not, my husband and I enjoyed our food much more than our typical Hibachi experience. We also felt that the value was better -- more food for the cost. Some items (add ons such as extra rice and sushi rolls) were less expensive than other places. Overall we were very pleased with the food and the service was COMFORTABLE. I was here last weekend with my friend i spent over 150 dollars on two people including drinks dinner and sushi. I'm completely fine with that but today i walk in alone and the management refused to seat me for hibachi by myself. She didn't even have get he decency to offer me a menu to place a card type out order. Very rude! Usually you go to hibachi they seat people at the grill until it is full. Oh well I'll give my business to another hibachi. I will never patron this one again!
