We cook with a combination of quality oak, hickory and the finest fruit woods such as cherry, peach and apple which creates a beautiful red smoke ring that our customers know and love. Whether you are considering full service catering or prefer drop-off catering services for that special occasion, let us help create and cater that memorable event.

We provide catering for Weddings, Family Reunions, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Graduations, Corporate Events, "Backyard BBQ" or any special occasions. Whole Pig Roast on-site! We are located in Skippers, VA and provide full service BBQ Catering from North of Richmond to Emporia and Central Virginia, Lake Gaston and Eastern NC.

We hired Mary and her team for our wedding back in May 2019 and they were amazing! She was very responsive to my emails and her schedule was super flexible. The food was delicious, especially the beef brisket. The cocktail display was beautiful! The price was reasonable for the food selections we made and the number of guests we had. I definitely recommend choosing them for your event!

Outstanding products. The smoked pork and smoked chicken were delicious and the side dishes quite tasty. The Ligons we're very outgoing and accommodating. Would not hesitate to recommend their services to anyone.

All I can say is WOW! The best BBQ and I am picky! In addition they have several different sides to choose from, and the only down side of that is choosing one! On top of everything they came up with something delicious called the Q Cup, which combines the Q and sides into one heavenly bowl. Highly recommend!!

I was happy to see that Southern Smokin' BBQ came to Powhatan's Festival of Fiber. Their BBQ is absolutely delicious! I had the BBQ sandwich with slaw and it was amazing. The slaw was crisp and fresh and the prefect compliment to the tender BBQ. I hope to see them again next year!
