In 1989, John Barrett was approached by a local racer with a power problem. He needed an alternator for his race car that was smaller, yet more reliable. Even though the racer was asking for the impossible, John was up for the challenge. He came up with a revolutionary new idea that eliminated the conventional alternator, hardware, brackets and belt.
High speed 3/4 ball roller bearings offer five times the strength of conventional water pump bearings. Variety of pulley types (Gilmer, HTD, Serpentine & V Belt), accommodate all water pumps and applications. 0 failure rate, 1,000's in use - you just about have to plant the car in the wall to make it fail.
