Woman who answer the phone are horrible , they care more about the money not the patient, if you get past thefront desk u will be fine but most of the time the secretary is rude n nasty . my gf just went to another dr because her contact was torn and they did not care told her she had to wait lol . thank new doctor they took care of her great today!!!

I contacted The Optical room today to inquire about my son who is 4 years old to get a eye exam just to insure there is no issues. He attends preschool and I just wanted to get his yearly exam done. I have been to this office before with my nephew and I never had a problem before. I spoke to a very rude woman name KATHLEEN she replied to me WHY WOULD YOU GET A 4 YEAR OLD EYES EXAMINED.. I replied to her why wouldn't you get your child's eyes examined just like you get everything else checked out why not their eyes. She then got very nasty and said is there some kind of issue can he read

Great service! They’re very nice and helpful! I was very pleased with my appointment! The doctor was very nice and the receptionist were very nice as well! They even helped me pick out the kind of glassed I was looking for and gave me honest opinions on which glasses looked best on me. Very nice conversations as well. I will definitely be coming back here!

The people who there they are very unprofessional.. Never recommend this place.. My mother have an appointment today. She can't even walk. When we get there they said her appointment got canceled.. If her appointment cancelled then you should call us day before or same day before we arrived there.. They can't even imagine how the old person get down from 3rd floor. That lady on the front desk she's super rude women in the world .i don't get it why she rude. She doesn't pay from her pocket. She needs to talk customer services classes and know how to deal with patients .

The Optical Room in Absecon is great. I highly recommend Ryan Sullick (Licensed Optician). He is super helpful and extremely knowledgeable. I was in town from Texas and my glasses frames were killing me because my own optician's office can never seem to get the fit right. Ryan fixed me right up and, what's more, explained the the whole process and why what I had before wasn't working. Very knowledgeable, friendly guy. The receptionist was also very friendly. A great experience. Thanks Ryan!

I saw Dr. Todd for a "comprehensive" eye exam. It did not feel very comprehensive, the exam felt rushed, lasted maybe less than 10 minutes. The only questions he asked me were why I haven't gotten new lenses and he seemed only interested in when I am going to get new lenses. If all you're looking for is your new prescription for your lenses, this place suffices, but I would consider other locations if you are looking for a thorough exam regarding the health of your eyes.

Two brothers, Chris and Colin, are the opticians here. They are the nicest and easiest guys to talk to that I've encountered at any Optical department in my life.
Very personable and funny too. Straight forward and no games from either of them. These two are the reason we keep coming back to the Optical Room.
The bad... KATHLEEN.
What a rude little troll she is... she is rude to patients on the phone AND in person. She must believe that the world owes her some respect, because she acts like she owns the place. I have NO idea why she still works here

THE best staff I've ever encountered in a doctors office.. Everyone is so friendly and makes you feel right at home. I wanted a pair of glasses they didn't carry at the store and they went way above and beyond to get me the exact pair that I wanted. Always glad to answer any questions with all the information you will need. Very happy with this office and the staff, definitely recommend this office!!! Thumbs way up!
