Practitioners of acupuncture and Chinese medicine have used this noninvasive treatment method to help millions of people become well and stay well. Acupuncture promotes natural healing. It can enhance recuperative power and immunity, support physical and emotional health, and improve overall function and well-being.
According to Chinese medical theory, the symptoms and signs that indicate a Western diagnosis of allergies relate to imbalances in the meridian and Organ Systems of the body. These imbalances may stem from a variety of causes, including stress, poor diet, constitutional weakness, pollutants and environmental toxins.
Acupuncture has been employed as a health care modality for over 5,000 years. Modern science has begun to understand the secrets of this ancient medicine with the support of new studies conducted by leading scientists, hospitals and medical research facilities from all over the world. Today, acupuncture is receiving wide acceptance as a respected, valid and effective form of health care.
Gathering this information enables the practitioner to effectively diagnose and detect any specific imbalances of Qi that may have contributed to a persons health problems. The practitioner can then create a well-structured treatment plan. Once the imbalances of Qi are detected, an acupuncturist will place fine, sterile needles at specific acupoints along meridian pathways.

Kate has been a God send for me. She is the best acupuncturist I’ve seen so far (been to 2 others). She listens, asks questions, engages and truly wants to help you get better. She doesn’t hesitate to recommend other people that may be able to assist in my healing process. And she is extremely knowledgeable and up-to-date on current treatments and issues in her field. Her prices are reasonable and she is a very kind soul. Thanks Kate!

I had plasma leaking into my eyes and it wasn't improving very quickly with the Eye Doctors treatment. I was seeing colors differently and my vision was blurred. Dr. Kate started acupuncture specifically for the eye issue I was having. By the third treatment my vision had cleared and colors were brighter. I will have to do maintenance acupuncture for this but it will be worth it to have my vision clear! Yes, my eye Dr. Confirmed the improved vision!

I came to Health Point following open heart surgery. After 3½ weeks I was experiencing A-Fib (irregular heart beat) and medication was not helping. Dr. Canfield told me that she had worked with other patients experiencing A-Fib and she had success in reversing it. With just ONE TREATMENT (2 needles in my arm and 2 needles in my leg) my heart beat went back to normal.
I am so grateful that I trusted Health Point and Dr. Canfield with my surgery recovery. I am now driving, off of all pain meds and I feel GREAT.

Dr. Kate is a compassionate and concerned professional . If acupuncture is a method you have not given a chance, you may want to reconsider. Dr Kate will give you great advice as well as the best treatment she feels will give you the healing you need. She will also let you know if you should see a Med Dr. as well. Her goal is your wellness.

My weekly visits to Dr. Kate at Health Point Acupuncture have become a lifeline for me. I experience stress and pain and Dr. Kate helps me with all of it. It's quite amazing! Traditional medicine would have me pill popping and or maybe even eventually some surgical procedure, but after seeing and experiencing Dr. Kate's treatments, acupuncture with her will always be my choice! Go...she will do wonders for you!

I used to be a fairly successful hair stylist. In 1983 I injured my back for the first time and in 1988 had my first surgery for a ruptured disc. I was teaching a Haircutting class for stylist to be able to renew their license when my injury happened. In an effort to allow the people in the back of a large room to see better, I tried to lift one or our hydraulic chairs up higher on a stage, and heard a snap. From that moment in 1983, to 2008, I subsequently had five surgeries. Three discectomy's and two fusions.
It is now 2013 and my career as a stylist is over. In fact, most everything I
