I can’t express how much I appreciate all that Billy Cauthen and all the staff did for me and our family after the loss of my husband. They took the stress out of making all the arrangements for his services and seeing to it that I got all the help I needed in taking care of business after the services. Thank you all so very much.

The staff at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home was not only professional throughout the process, but extraordinarily caring, kind, and helpful. There were many decisions that had to be made, and even when I changed my mind more than once, they were completely understanding and eager to make sure everything was exactly the way we wanted it. Our mother was very special and I am happy to say that her service, which was directed by Sam Houston Memorial Home, was a beautiful celebration of her life.

From the moment I walked into the Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Huntsville Tx I was made to feel like family. No one ever really wants to have to go to a funeral home but they could not have been nicer if they tried. They gave me all the time I needed and guided me through all the necessary details when I really didn’t feel like doing anything. They showed equal kindness in accommodating another family member of my husband. They helped me when I was ready to post his obituary even during after their regular hours. Their service and kindness and caring and understanding help is truly exceptional

Four months ago my family and I needed help at the most painful time in our lives. My husband past away and he wanted Sam Houston Memorial Funeral home to take care of him. From the moment we walked in until the flowers were brought home, they were the most personal and professional group that we had taking care of every single need. My family and I are so very grateful for their service.

The people at Sam Houston Funeral Home were kind and considerate during a very difficult time. They gave me help in making decisions and handled the arrangements very professionally. Billy Cauthen was compassionate and caring in handling every aspect of the services and arrangements. He is a comfort during a time of so much confusion and sadness.

When my Uncle Ricky passed away this year, my family and I decided to have his services in Huntsville, Texas. But, coming from Los Angeles, California, we weren’t exactly sure how smoothly we can organize with a funeral home. Sam Houston Memorial alleviated all of our doubts. They were so accommodating to my family and answered any questions that we had in a timely manner. Our director Greg Smith, allowed my mom to come days before my uncle’s service to assure that we were well taken care of. Personally, I will never forget the touching prayer that Greg gave to my family the day that we honored

If you have any other option use a different facility. They messed up multiple aspects of the service and preparation including us having to ask for the casket spray and flowers we paid for because they didn't have them there at the time of the funeral and weren't trying to correct it. Our loved one was very poorly prepared and looked nothing like whet we expected - my wife and her sister were very upset. Their staff was rude, and even after multiple times verifying the information that got multiple pieces of the death certificate incorrect and it took us months to get them to correct it causing
