Our Instructors have spent many years devoted to training in the art of Taekwondo and other martial arts and have attained a certain level of expertise to qualify them as teachers and also mentors. Through extensive testing, certification and tournament level competition, our staff has attained mastery in this martial art and now enjoy sharing their skill and passing it on to their students.
Students and enthusiasts of Taekwondo have many reasons for their interest in this and other martial art styles. Some are drawn to the physical fitness and weight-loss aspects of training. Others seek to add discipline and self control to their lives. While still others are concerned about safety and self-defense.

Taekwondo offers a systematic method of student development and progress measured by colored belts. USA Spirit Martial Arts Academy's instructors will guide the willing student through the intense training required to achieve the rank of "Black Belt". All students Start out as White Belts. Several years ago, we were looking to transfer to this school. Right before we were going to start, Washington called us telling us not to come. When we asked why, he stated that he did not have to tell us. It was the strangest situation which we were not given an answer to. As fate as it, we found a MUCH BETTER school. We also learned of the poor reputation and sportsmanship of Washington. Avoid this school if possible.

Master Greg and the USA Spirit Martial Arts Academy have the best Tae Kwon Do program in the area. This is the second academy we've tried and are very pleased with the progress our granddaughter is making here. In addition to the skills she is learning, they reinforce respect, self-discipline and self-confidence. I highly recommend this program.

Can't say enough good things about Master Greg and his Martial Arts Academy. I brought my granddaughter here and could not be happier with her progress. Master Greg is great with all the kids. He takes his time and works with them on an individual need basis.Prices are very reasonable with no contract. I would recommend to anyone

This school is run by Master Greg Washington and it has been such a blessing to my family. My son started when he was 5 here and Master Washington helped turn around some pretty bad behavior traits. He started listening more and was way more respectful after having things reinforced at the school.
Beyond just the behavior bonuses the training is top notch in TaeKwonDo, with my son winning both State and National Championships in 2013 in sparring and placing 3rd in both tournaments in forms. This year (2014) he took 2nd in Sparring at State, and 3rd in forms, with Nationals coming up in July

Master Washington has been a wonderful influence on my son, and now my daughter is also attending classes. We have been attending classes for for 2 years now and I can honestly say that my son is better because of having Master Washington as a role model.
If you want to enroll your kids in an Academy where the teacher truly cares for the students then you should choose USA Spirit Martial Arts and Master Washington!
