When a family member, friend, coworker, or neighbor struggles with problems that affect their behavioral health, it concerns everyone around them. Warren Yazoo Behavioral Health strives to provide exceptional, affordable care that helps individuals of all ages and circumstances feel better, function more successfully, and experience life more fully.

Working in partnership with local schools, community organizations, public agencies, and private businesses, we make every effort to provide safe and supportive environments in which individuals and families can get the care they need. We directly reach several thousand individuals each year and compassionately work to improve the well-being of all who live and work in Warren and Yazoo counties.
Services
Funding partially provided by the State agencies including the Department of Mental Health, the Department of Human Services, and the Department of Transportation. Federal funding is provided by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. Warren Yazoo Behavioral Health is one of fourteen regional community mental health centers in the state of Mississippi.
We are committed to providing behavioral health, and intellectual disabilities services within the context of community participation and involvement. The center continues to bring the highest quality evidence-based practices and supports in an environment of wellness to each person in need of behavioral health, intellectual disabilities, aging or addictions recovery services.

He has been in law enforcement for more than thirty years, and is currently employed with the MS Department of Public Safety Bureau of Narcotics where he directs activities of the Internal Affairs Unit.He is a resident of Yazoo City, Ms and graduated from Yazoo City High School. He earned a Bachelor's Degree from Jackson State University and also graduated from the MS Law Enforcement Officer's Training Academy and the FBI National Academy.
Over the course of an impressive 31 years of service, Bobby Barton has made significant contributions to Warren Yazoo Behavioral Health. Prior to being named Executive Director Bobby served as the Chief Operations Officer for the agency. He is known for his attention to detail and quality management expertise.
Although it is usually true that time heals most wounds, there are instances in which stressors are so overwhelming that individuals feel unable to cope with every day life issues. Outpatient therapy provided in a confidential setting encourages open communication about mental health and substance abuse issues.
