Lakeview Optometry is dedicated to helping you maintain good vision and eye health through all stages of life. All children should be examined by the time they are 2-3 years old. If there are any concerns, examinations can be performed even in infants. We have the ability to determine their need for glasses and the health of their eyes with methods other than what we use during adult examinations.

Dr. Mikels grew up in Carroll County. She graduated as the salutatorian of Delphi Community High School in 2009. After high school, she majored in Biology & Chemistry and graduated summa cum laude from Saint Joseph's College in 2013. She then moved to Columbus, OH to attend optometry school at The Ohio State University.

Amazing staff ,it was my first visit to the office alomg with my soms very first visit for his eyes and hes 5 and the ladies all did amazing with him. He was scared but they made the whole experience fun and easy for him and in the end he had a blast getting his eyes checked ! Huge selection of frames and sunglasses . everyone in there was super friendly! Cant wait to get my new glasses !

My husband and I have been going there for 2 years now. We really like the Dr. And staff. Saturday we both had appointments. I picked out my new frames. While waiting g on my husband to get his exam done I asked them to adjust my glasses because they kept sliding down my nose. The lady broke my glasses because the plastic was brittle. Everyone there tried to find another frame my lens would fit in. They had a frame exactly like mine but 1 lens would not fit in it. So the Dr. found a Ray ban frame that they would fit in. I was not charged for the frame. Everyone there was vey nice to both of us

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!
I have to state this has been received a couple time. Due to the Dr. Mikel's attacking
Me in this review stating the incident was completely my fault and based on my behavior. And later changing his comment. I want it to be clear about what happened.
Horrible office and staff!!! I would not recommend them at all!! These people denied my child services because they assumed we had the inability to pay.
I had received several phone calls form the office stating that my the primary insurance couldn't no be both Cigna and Care source. I stated to the office that I didn't carry

Ordered glasses 2/17. Called two weeks later and told frames on backorder until first week of April. April 9th called and they were closed. (Their hours on Google are not accurate.) Called insurance and insurance provided tracking number and said glasses were shipped and signed for by the office on March 24th. They've had my daughter's glasses 2 1/2 weeks and never notified us. Oh... and glasses aren't a vanity thing. She's been having headaches from eye strain. I need glasses as well but I will not be going there.
