For more than 40 years, the William A. Irvin carried iron ore and coal to Great Lakes ports, often crashing through ferocious storms to reach her destinations. Yet the enormous vessel represents much more than impressive power. As the proud flagship of U.S. Steel's Great Lakes Fleet, she provided comfort and elegance to dignitaries and guests who traveled the Lakes with her.

This place should be ashamed of itself. Why would you plan so many things going on at one time? Why wouldnt you warn people that there was going to be complete chaos. I stayed at a hotel that's only 3 miles away and it took over 2 hours to got here. I think someone needs to look at the planning staff and consider looking for new staff! Never will I come to duluth again.....Ever

This is a fun place to attend any events that are happening, you can check their website for more information about what events are currently happening, and what events are soon to come. They can have very entertaining events here, and often do. When I was here people seemed to be enjoying themselves and the staff was very helpful.

This is a different review. My wife was attending a conference there, and had forgotten sla medication she really needed. I am not entirely familiar with the layout. The staff at the place were really helpful in getting me, and the meds to her. From the parking attendant to security, to housekeeping. Thank you all.

We were very lucky to see a large ship, the Maumee (sp?) pass through the peir and pass under the bridge after it was raised. The two kids loved it. The historical anchors were awesome to see as well. Lots to do, lots to see, and lots to learn. Check out Grandma's after the pier. Great food there too!

Nice facility, very good access with the skywalk system. All the staff we met were helpful and friendly. Well maintained and clean. We went to the symphony hall for a concert and it was quite nice. Seats were fairly comfortable, though slightly tight (as expected at a theater). Sound quality was very good.

Amsoil is a great intimate space which is unusual for this type of venue. It comfortably seats 6000, but feels more spacious than other arenas of its size. No seats are bad for hockey. Staff are friendly and the food is above average for d1 hockey. I strongly suggest getting bar top seats for hockey, it is comfortable.
