We utilize the McKenzie Approach as part of a comprehensive, personalized plan to treat back pain. Back pain is this fifth most common reason to seek healthcare treatment and affects 60 to 80% of people throughout their lifetime. It is the leading cause of job related disability and a significant contributor to missed work days.
The elbow joint is where the distal humerus meets the proximal radius and ulna bones. An inherently stable and versatile joint, the elbow can flex and extend as hinge as well as pivot around an axis. Elbow pain is often caused by overuse. Many sports, hobbies and jobs require repetitive movements involving this complex joint.
We offer a Running Pain Assessment to diagnose foot and ankle issues, develop a personalized treatment plan, and get you back in the game, participating in the activites you enjoy at the level you are accustomed to. There is an old saying - When your feet hurt, you hurt all over. Foot and ankle pain is very common and can limit the ability to perform daily living activities.
Hand and wrist pain is often caused by sprains or fractures from sudden injuries. But hand and wrist pain can also result from long-term problems, such as repetitive stress, arthritis and carpal tunnel syndrome. Sudden injury tends to be due to sports participation that involves repetitive stress on the hand and wrist.
