One of the most well-known and trusted dentists in California, Dr. Douglas Martin has practiced dentistry in Stockton since 1975. With the ability to solve the simplest to most complex dental reconstructions, our board-certified implant dentist specializes in implant services for patients throughout the Sacramento, Modesto, Lodi, Manteca and Stockton areas.
Dr. Dax Martin has been with Martin Dentistry for over 20 years, providing excellent dental care to the community. He attended Linden High School, Delta Junior College and the University of California at Davis. He received his Bachelor of Science in dental science from the University of California at San Francisco School of Dentistry.

I took my 20 month old son into another densities. Without on exam they told me he has cavities and that they couldn’t touch him for another 6 month. That didn’t sit well with me that’s when I reached out to Dr. Martin. My son was really good for his teeth exam and the dr was really kind and sweet and my son was very happy to cooperate. Dr.martin cleaned and polished his teeth and send us home with something to prevent cavities. He gave us a lot of information and helps us to take care of our son. We had a wonderful experience and I we will be back in 6 month for a follow up! Thank you Dr

Everyone in the office is so friendly, helpful, and nice. They will work with you on any situation that may arise.. The dentist is very kind and gentle and does a great job. Every time I go there it is a very relaxing atmosphere, they make you feel very comfortable and relaxed.

First, this is a family and professional business. The staff and Dr. Skye Martin we’re outstanding and so friendly. This was my first time here and it was a dental emergency. This is a 5-Star Dentist Gem in Stockton... they are family ran, and it shows with their clients because they treat us like family. My toddler, my teen & myself, enjoy the atmosphere, the staff and the Dentists here.. which is hard to achieve. They are honest with the costs of procedures and give excellent recommendations for procedures they don't perform in house. Great place!!

Do yourself and your teeth a favor and do not go here! I went in for some fillings, and while the staff was nice, the work that was done on my teeth was terrible. Since these fillings were done, I have not been able to eat using the entire left side of my mouth. I have been in pain for months and now have to go to another dentist to correct his work. When I tried to tell him about my pain he dismissed everything I was saying. It seems as though he didn't believe me. I had told him multiple times and he tried to recommend a root canal, which I don't need and which would have been much

I have been going to Martin Dentistry all my life. Their level of skill amazes me and everyone is so nice.
I had my molars taken out and Dr. Doug took them out like magic. I seriously didn't know he was taking them out till I saw them of the tray. Dr. Dax is also extremely skilled and has amazing chair side manner.
They are very casual and real. They are personable and talk to you like real people. I feel that they are transparent and trustworthy. They don't recommend treatments that I don't need.

If I could give a zero (0) rating to Dr. Douglas Martin's Dentistry, I would.
After several years of my entire family being patients of Dr. Martin, we feel compelled to finally leave his practice and seek another dentist.
During our years, there have been incidences here and there that were inappropriate, but as a family, we've overlooked those, tolerated, and continued to give them a chance. Now, as I look back, our family should have left a long time ago. Today is when we draw the line.

My extraction literally took 10 minutes. The most painful part was the small pinching while Dr. Martin was numbing me. I honestly never had a more pleasant experience while someone was literally pulling my teeth. He definitely knows what he's doing. I'm upset I didn't have him before. I don't have to dread going back for the other work I need to get done.

The Martin Dentistry took me in as an emergency appointment for an extraction; through 1-800 dentist. Dr. Sky Martin is very Professional took his time going over everything and making sure you are comfortable before starting and even while working on you. He was very gentle and quick. I personally hate going to the dentist and this experience has really impressed me by the service and work they do there. Great, friendly team.

Excellent dentists! I drive many miles to bring my kids and self here for dental work. Dr Martin is the BEST dentist! Very knowledgeable on many procedures!! Thank you so much for taking my mother in law in an emergency. This poor woman was in excruciating pain. I called you in the evening and you got her in the very next day, otherwise she would have had to wait through the weekend because nobody would see her. Thank you Michael for getting her in so quickly. Then we meet the Jolly Dr. Martin who was a sweetheart, he removed the tooth and mom didn't even know it. I've been a patient with Martin Dentistry for almost seven years now. From my first visit to my recent visit, every visit has always been pleasant. For someone who despised going to the dentist as a child, I actually look forward to getting my regular check ups as an adult. I go in about every 4 months and see dental hygienist Jackie, she's so nice. Dr. Martin and Dr. Dax are awesome as well - Dr. Martin pulled my wisdom teeth back in 2009 and Dr. Dax did my root canal in 2011. I would highly recommend them!

After walking out of Stadium dental due to their AWEFUL unprofessional service I made an appointment with Dr. Dax Martin. He not only explained what treatment I needed to fix my problem and why it was the best option, but spent extra time to make sure I was comfortable with everything. This is the best dentist office I have ever been to! Everyone was very kind and helpful! I would highly recommend coming to their office for your dental needs! Dare I say, I actually enjoyed going to the dentist! : )

I hadn't gone to a dentist in years due to previous bad experiences and lack of insurance. I bought and redeemed a Groupon back in June and had such a great time. Jackie, the dental hygienist, was thorough and made me feel so relaxed and comfortable.
Since the X-ray machine was down, I just had an oral exam by Dr. Douglas Martin. He patiently explained what I needed to do to ensure good oral health and showed me the correct way of brushing and flossing. None of my previous dentists did that. I didn't know I was doing them incorrectly all these years. I left with a bag of goodies

Dr.'s Martin (yes there are two) are AMAZING!!!!
First and foremost the amazing staff are kind, friendly, and welcoming. From the moment you walk in the door you feel safe and welcome (very odd for a dentist office right?) This is a family run business and it shows by the pride the staff takes in their work and facility.
My service was lightening quick, and nothing less then one of the most positive dental experiences I have even heard of! Almost like a fairytale! I was told (by another dentist) I was going to lose my bottom 4 teeth if I got a deep scale cleaning (which I needed desperately
