A native Peru and raised in Raleigh, Dr. Cynthia Diehl attended NC State University and then medical school at UNC-Chapel Hill. She completed a general surgery residency at one of the leading surgical centers in the country, UNC Hospital, and obtained her board certification through the American Board of Surgery.
Dr. Tannan and her practice Tannan Plastic Surgery has joined our office. She is a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in plastic surgery and surgery of the hand. Tannan Plastic Surgery offers a full suite of aesthetic and reconstructive surgery services for the breast, body, face and hand.
Our facility was designed with your comfort in mind. While we boast the highest-caliber of medical equipment, the environment feels more like a place of meditation and relaxation than a cold, clinical medical facility. Your consultation will be in a private, relaxed atmosphere, where all options will be thoroughly discussed.
Most surgery is performed in our private operating suite. Our surgical suite maintains the highest rating of accreditation by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAAASF). It is staffed with a plastic surgery trained RN and surgical tech. At Diehl Plastic Surgery, we make patient privacy a priority.
Dr. Diehl is driven by the desire to better the lives of her patients. Dr. Diehl is one of the few female and Spanish-speaking plastic surgeons in Raleigh. She is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and was previously certified by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Diehl is trained in cosmetic facial, breast, and body procedures, including SmartLipo MPX, an FDA approved laser liposuction technology.

I was born with a mole on my face and after many years, I decided to have it removed. I extensively researched the vast pool of plastic surgeons and selected Dr. Diehl. She is absolutely fabulous! I had no swelling, bruising, or pain after the surgical excision. And more importantly, you can hardly tell I had a HUGE mole removed and its just been 9 days! She did a remarkable job, while keeping me calm which was no easy task! Her office staff is phenomenal as well. If you are in need of a plastic surgeon, I highly recommend.

Can't say enough positive about the MiraDry procedure! It works! To go from ...not being able to find a strong enough anti-perspirant and having to use a baking soda paste pre-wash to remove sweat odor from the fabric because detergent and dryer sheets aren't enough to ...one-week later.....miraculous results for an embarrassing problem. Amazing! Great job!

I made an appointment for Botox and possibly filler for frown lines. The office policy requires a $125 deposit for an appointment. When I went in Dr Diehl said that what I hoped to achieve would require surgery and couldn't be done with injections. I didn't want to go the surgical route and all they could offer was a consult for plastic surgery. I requested that they refund my deposit for the filler. Definitely a responsible provider ; disappointed I couldn't improve the area, but wanted to share my experience.

Wow, that's all I can say about the services here. Dr. Diehl recently performed a removal of breast implants that were not done well and were looking even worse because I'd started competing in bodybuilding. The office is lovely, staff are extremely friendly and everyone is so attentive. Day of surgery I had zero side effects, up and moving within a couple of hours and had absolutely NO pain following the surgery. No soreness or even a headache from anesthesia, which I have had in the past with other surgeries. I can't say enough great things about Dr. Diehl and will be back

Everyone in this office from the receptionist to billing is so friendly and totally amazing! Dr Diehl took her time talking to me and getting to know me and explaining all about the procedure I was getting. She never rushed me and she made sure I was completely comfortable before moving forward. She is AMAZING at what she does. I would definitely recommend Dr. Diehl to anyone who wants a down to earth honest amazing surgeon with a flawless technique.....

I love the staff here!! Everyone is so down to earth and easy to relate with. I went in for the MiraDry procedure and everything they told me to expect was right on point. They're very knowledgeable and extremely professional. Customer service is nonexistent these days but this is one place that thrives on it! Highly recommend a consult with them if you're considering having one of the services they offer... you won't be disappointed.

Everyone that works here is so nice! No matter what you get done, they talk to you about the pros and cons and don't try to upsell you. It's clean and comfortable! They are easy to contact after hours also which is great. Everyone here seems really genuine. They remember stuff about me and I love coming here.
