From routine cleanings and fillings to bruxism devices, Elizabeth Russ Family Dental is equipped to handle all your dental needs. By using digital x-rays the paitent's exposure time to radiation is 75% less than the old standard film x-rays. Having digital also saves the patient time in the chair as results are instant.
In January of 2012, Dr. Elizabeth Russ acquired the Chestnut Street dental practice and became the owner of Elizabeth Russ Family Dental. Dr. Russ and her husband, Rob, along with their son, Dylan, reside in and are active members in the town of Needham. Originally from North Carolina, Dr. Russ received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Our office is conveniently located on MBTA bus line #59 and a very short walk between two MBTA Commuter Rail stations on Chestnut Street in Needham. Parking is available and our street level entrance is easy access for handicapped patients. During the first visit, we make sure to obtain important background information, like your medical history, and give you time to get to know your doctor. Before: The patient had broken, decayed baby canine teeth with fractured, misaligned upper front teeth. After: The baby canine teeth were removed and two implants were placed with six esthetic crowns in the front to change the patients smile. Before: This patient came into our office wanting veneers and a better smile.

As a new patient to the practice I was greeted with relaxed friendly people who worked there from the dentist , receptionist, and dental assistant . I liked the atmosphere ; it was pleasantly decorated but not over the top and appeared really clean and sanitized.
I was impressed with the technology used for a new patient to explain and demonstrate exactly what was going on in my mouth. Not only was it easy to understand but the process comfortable.
I’ve never had so much personal attention ; not feeling rushed at all

There are some pretty good dentists out there. There are even fewer really good ones. Then, there is Dr. Russ! She is in a league all by herself. Not only does she have mad skills, but she is a wonderful person, with an equally amazing staff. A rare combination indeed! I'm luck to call her "my dentist!"

Dr Russ fit me in this morning so I could get a crown reset before I leave town tomorrow for a my daughter’s wedding. She was very precise and didn’t cut corners despite the fact that she likely didn’t have time to deal with me (it was my fault the crown came off after all!). She was so pleasant and professional- I highly recommend her!

My family and I have been going to the Dr Russ practice for many years and it’s been great. I found her to be very professional, kind and truly caring about your oral health. Everyone in her office has always been very friendly and does exceptional work as well! My husband and my daughters see Dr. Russ too and have only good things to say as well. Dr Russ and her entire staff are wonderful. My family (3 of us) all come in from Acton to see Dr Russ and her staff, and they're worth every mile.
I've had people ask why I travel 26 miles each way to see a dentist. I tell them "People travel across the country to see a doctor when they believe their life is on the line. Your life may never be saved by your dentist, but it could. Moreover, I completely trust them. And if you don't have that, it doesn't matter if they're next door."
