Amy Harrington has been a stylist working behind the chair for 16 years. She started her career training under Patricia Pepin a Goldwell platform artist. From this training Amy's love of color grew. She has attended numerous color and specialty color classes with Goldwell, Coastline USA, Pro Rituals, and various other color companies.
Amy has a color certification from Coastline USA, a specialty training certificate in Razor cutting, a certificate of Specialty coloring services from Coastline USA as well as many other courses. Amy is incredible. She is an artist with color. She has an unique ability to listen to her customers and translate their thoughts into color and cut.

Studio 105 Hair Design opened in 2013 with the goal of providing exceptional customer service and the most current trends of hair color and styling. We have a strong emphasis on education here at the salon. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming from start to finish. They complimented my shirt, offered me a coffee or tea and said how much they liked my hair the whole time. I honestly feel like everyone working there made contact with me to make me feel welcome. John did a great job fixing everything I did wrong over the years doing it myself. He was friendly and personable. I will be a repeat customer thanks to John and the entire staff!!

Amazing place & wonderful hair and makeup for our wedding! Amy and Maggie and Terri were phenomenal to work with for our wedding this fall. They were flexible but had clear vision; they were kind and professional; they showed great expertise and care in what they did; and they made us all look beautiful and radiant and STILL like ourselves. From the moment you step foot inside Studio 105 Hair Design you know you are in for a treat. Clients are greeted immediately, offered to hang up your coat and if you would like something to drink from the beverage station. Don't get the idea that you'll have time to enjoy your beverage in the warmly decorated reception room as this salon seems to run like clockwork. I have always been in my stylist's chair on time if not before. The stylists' area is bright and beautifully decorated - and did I mention, clean! My wife had an appointment, our 18 month old son was horribly sick and we had to make an emergency doctor's appointment. Needless to say, my wife had to cancel. But instead of charging a flat fee, or a % based fee, this operation (in a condescending tone) forced her to pay the full $170 appointment bill without any services rendered -- to this day, I am still seething. I understand a cancellation fee, but for the full appointment amount is ridiculous. I would be able to stomach $30, $50, even 50% of the appointment estimate, but 100% is blatant robbery. This company is unscrupulous. I do not care

Roz is here, need I say more? After damaging my hair with bleach to the point of no return, she worked patiently with me for 2 years so I could keep my length instead of most others who told me that I had to cut it all off. Seriously, she's the only person I allow to take scissors to my hair, even when I lived in Japan, I would wait to get my hair done with Roz on my visits home.
As for the studio itself, it's a really calming space with lots of natural light and there's nothing cramped about it like some of the other salons in the area. I really adore getting my hair done here.

I was up in Jaffrey for a wedding and was looking for a blow dry/style. My curls can be difficult to smooth out so it's always a little nerve wracking to try out a new salon on the day of an important event!
I stumbled upon Studio 105 in a yelp search, and I'm so happy I did. Hannah did an incredible job - she listened well, explained what she was doing and which products she was using (it's clear she's professionally trained), and my hair turned out exactly like the picture I showed her. I got compliments all night!

Maggie at Studio 105 is great to work with. Very accommodating and great with naturally curly hair. I recently had a straightener done on my hair and I can’t say enough good about this product. I highly recommend anyone looking for control of you curley hair this is the product and the salon to use!

Beautiful salon! Everyone is super friendly and welcoming. I was lucky to have been scheduled with Roz for my first visit. She took a lot of time and listened to my thoughts/problems with my hair. She cut my hair in a way that makes the funky bend work better. She also cut both of my daughter's hair and they felt awesome when she was done!

I am very picky when it comes to my hair and am constantly changing my mind on the style and color I want to have... talk about patient and AWESOME! I have had the privilege of having both Maggie and Amy work on my hair, and I have been extremely satisfied with every style, color, and cut; and that's saying something! Studio 105 also did the hair and makeup for my sister's wedding and every bridesmaid as well as the bride looked stunning and the styles lasted all day. 5 stars :):)

Got my hair done here for a special occasion. Just a simple braid with curled hair. It took the women TWO HOURS! for something I honestly could have done. She kept complaining about how long and thick my hair was and commented on how long it would take her. I curl my hair in 20 minutes with it staying in all day so it shouldn't have been a problem. I will say that I was happy with the way my hair turned out and the atmosphere was beautiful!

I hunted for Roz when she left another local salon and finally found her here. What a BEAUTIFUL and restful place. Boston quality and atmosphere with NH prices. And Roz is wonderful- great stylist and very dear person. Doesn't get better than this salon. FINALLY a high quality salon in Peterborough.
