We use Zig Ziglar's "I Can" program to help students develop the discipline necessary to power a champion-in-life mindset. In this program, our students learn the ABCs of a martial arts black belt: Attitude, Behavior and Character. To ensure that students receive the highest possible level of mentoring, our professional instructors go through a mandatory year-round training program.

What is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu? Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is the single most effective martial art you can learn for self-defense. Unlike most martial arts, Jiu-Jitsu doesn't rely on size and strength. It's all about leverage and timing. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art designed to equip a physically smaller or weaker individual with an effective method of defending against a larger and stronger attacker.

When we inquired about classes for my son, they told us and another family the wrong time. Another student showed my son around while the adults were chatting and chasing down kids. No one apologized that we had just drove 40 minutes for nothing. They just tried to play the blame game on other people. When we first entered, there was no one to greet us. They were in a hurry for the next class so they practically threw the schedule at us and said call with questions. No one discussed pricing, uniforms, whats included or what they do or anything with us. We decided to not return.

These people are awesome! The staff are very caring, and very friendly. They treat the kids and parents very great and teach them to be responsible. My kids have went here for years, and after seeing how another school in town, how the owner acts and treats people, there is no place better than East West.

East West Karate is a great place. My son has been in the after school program for three years now and has learned so much. I will always recommend East West Karate, it's not just a place, it's a family. Everyone who works there is absolutely wonderful. If you need an after school program this place is hands down the best place for your child to go!!!

Awesome instructors and group of kids! I would recommend this karate school to anyone. The instructors know the students on a personal level and always take the time to make sure the students get the proper training. My son loves going there and they are our second family. With me being gone with the military this help keep him distracted and he has gained a lot of confidence since starting there.
