We treat the face first. While traditional orthodontic treatment has focused primarily on "a good bite" we believe that our primary objective is to create a beautiful smile and enhance facial aesthetics while improving the bite. A beautiful smile is more than just straight teeth. We always evaluate and treat the smile on a "micro level."

One of the most common orthodontic treatments is with braces, and in today's world braces have made many advances. Getting the Henn Braces System can be an exciting and rewarding experience because you can expect your smile faster and with much more comfort. Only about 10% of the orthodontic world use technology similar to ours and Dr. Henn has it mastered.
There are many types of orthodontic braces that are used. In certain cases, Dr. Henn will recommend specific materials which will work better in your circumstance while in other cases you may have a choice. If you do have a strong preference for tooth-colored (clear) brackets, please let us know at your consultation.
Your teeth and lips may feel a little sore when you first get your braces. It may feel like a struggle to eat your favorite foods so it is recommended to avoid eating certain foods to relieve your mouth and teeth of additional pressure. Warm salt water helps to relieve the soreness in the first few days.
