I just wanted to take a minute to thank you for the great windows I had installed at the beginning of the year. This month was the payoff. After about 60 days of 100+ degree weather, I just got my August electric bill. We recently got our new vinyl windows. They are great. The outside noise is gone and we no longer feel the Texas heat coming in through the windows.

Wow! Do all the different marketing companies claiming their window is the best confuse you? How can they all be the best? The honest answer is none of them are for every home and each of them might be for your home. It is an exciting time in the window business with so many frame materials, types, shapes, frame colors, glass packages and energy profiles.
These beautiful windows are made from heavy walled vinyl extrusions. They are structurally designed with multiple irregular chambers to be strong, energy efficient and maintenance free. Our vinyl is formulated to withstand sun exposure and we warranty it against blistering, chipping, flaking, rust, rot and peeling (see our limited life-time warranty for details).
The window frame and sashes are insulated; this is done by separating the outside aluminum extrusion from the inside extrusion with a material such as polyurethane, reducing the amount of heat or cold transferred through the frames. This feature is known as a thermal break or thermal barrier. A thermalized aluminum window performance is equal to or better than well-made wood windows.

I ordered over 40 windows for new construction. Over $10,000 in windows. As we're installing we notice there are splits in the nail fins on almost every window corner. I called the manufacturer and spoke to the… manager who claims this is the way they are made and the fins are simply just snapped onto the windows. After I asked him how would I make sure my windows are water tight, he claims that I should "just use some silicone"
Silicone is the last resort product for water proofing. A properly installed new construction window should technically not require silicone. But that's the best

5 star satisfied with Thermal Windows DFW. We had 11 windows replaced in 2015 and then had the remaining six replaced in 2018.
I did not want vinyl windows and got an aluminum frame (brown) instead. We decided to have two kitchen windows replaced with solid glass model instead of the type that can be opened. We were shocked by the beautiful… view and openness it added to our rather small kitchen. We decided to leave the blinds we ordered in the box and put them in storage.
The windows have performed without issue and have made a significant improvement to the former leaky windows.

Did a great job on the installation and price but one of their employees scratched our kitchen sink and did not put back on the handle they removed for the in wall gas heater in our bedroom bathroom. My wife contacted them but did not get any response about replacing them or fixing them. I listed the problem on the warranty card I mailed off and… still did not get any response. Update: They contacted me and have ordered a replacement handle for the gas heater and are trying to find a company that can polish out the scratches in the kitchen sink.
