This is what the finished recycled fuel pellets look like. The fuel pellets are made from various paper products, which are destined for the landfill. They measure 3/4" in diameter and range from 1/4" - 3" in length. Our pellets undergo stringent DNR testing to ensure they burn cleaner than coal. We recycle many forms of scrap material, and sometimes it is cheaper than taking it to the landfill.
Most of the items we recycle are paper and industrial scrap that can't be further recycled by conventional means. Thank you for your Interest in Pellet America Corporation and the process that takes place here. It is our goal to keep as much "good, " reusable material from going to the landfill as possible.

Services
Pellet America Corporation was established in 1992 in Appleton, WI, and continues to be a leader in the fuel pellet industry, manufacturing over 30,000 tons of pellets annually. Today, Pellet America continues as a family-owned and operated business that remains dedicated to customer needs, as well as the community.
The manufacturing process begins with our supply of incoming scrap material. This material generally comes in as bales or rolls, and is brought to our facility via van trailers, open-top dumpsters, and compactors. Pellet America contracts much of the trucking; however, there are some companies located outside of the Fox Valley area that use common carriers.
