This can be anything done to correct imperfections in the appearance of the mouth. Anyone who is unhappy with their smile can have it fixed. Crowns are full coverage restorations that are used to cover a tooth that is likely to break, or is too broken down to be restored with a filling. They are most commonly done after root canal treatment, or when a large filling wears out. The larger the hole made by a cavity that has to be treated, the more likely a crown will be needed.
The brand of the toothbrush is not as critical as the type of bristle and the size of the head. A soft toothbrush with a small head is recommended because medium and hard brushes tend to cause irritation and contribute to recession of the gums, and a small head allows you to get around each tooth more completely and is less likely to injure your gums.

I can’t even begin to explain how much I adore Dr. Scott Smith and his amazing staff! I went to another local dentist for 15 years that made me feel so self conscious, wouldn’t listen to my concerns, and kept drilling when I was grabbing the chair from pain. Since going to Dr. Smith I have never once encountered those feelings. He sits down and educates me on what’s going on with my teeth and discusses the best solution. His staff is so personable and caring. I will NEVER go anywhere else. If I could give 6 starts out of 5, I would!
