We were waiting for weeks to get our generator worked on by another mechanic. My wife searched and found Gerry's site. Within 5 minutes on the phone he fixed the problem. He took the time to listen to the issue, and then walked me thru a very simple fix. I couldn't believe that I couldn't get a mechanic to show up who I have paid numerous times but someone who didn't know me from anyone took the time to help.

Came up to mead from SoCal for a weekend on the water the was anything but smooth sailing. Boat broke a bellow and taking on water. Then the trailer winch busted trying to get it out of the water. Luckily I got it out and Gerry's had all the parts I needed at a good price. Whenever I need something and I am in town I will definitely be coming back.

I stopped there just to ask some questions and advice. Randy in parts/service was VERY helpful, knowledgeable and gave me tons of good advice. He could have simply told me he didn't know or told me my issue was something they would have to see and charge me for to know. But he actually said the could things I was asking about were normal and how to fix them. I would recommend this place any time. It's RARE to find that type on honestly in a business instead of a place just trying to make money on someone. two thumbs UP.

We were visiting lake mead from California for a long weekend boat trip. We got in to lake Las Vegas late, and long story short, my husband hit the boat tower on an overhang. 2 bolts sheared completely off and the tower was basically hanging. We looked up reviews on boat repair shops and saw Gerry's had great reviews. We got to the shop 10mins before opening and a guy let us in, took a look, and even though they were booked 6 weeks out, he started immediately working to get the sheared screw ends out, rethreaded everything, and got us ready to go within 45 minutes. They were only going to charge

Thank you to Gerry and his excellent techs at Gerrys Marine. Took our boat in for a service to get ready for the summer season, the guys went through the boat top to bottom. They did an excellent job in getting the boat ready. We were on the river in the next 2 days and our boat ran better than it has since we have owned it. Best thing about this was the same day service, in by 8.00 am done by 4.00 pm. and the price was great for all the work performed. You guys are the best and we will tell everyone we know! Again a HUGE THANK YOU !!

I had a lot of projects going on at once and I just couldn’t do it all myself. I needed a good shop to help me with the motor end of a boat restoration project. I’m very picky with the work I give to shops so I searched high and low as I do. I talked to Gerry and explained what I needed done. I could tell he knew his business and his prices were fair. I recently purchased a boat in Orange County, where I live, and am storing it near Lake Mead. I found Gerry's Marine online and was overly impressed with the reviews on both Yelp and Google. Gerry's Marine was the most positively ranked marine service company I could find between O.C. and Lake Mead. I called Gerry about my 19' Stingray that just needed it's annual service. Gerry was fantastic! He picked the boat up at my storage, serviced the boat, and returned it all in one day. The price was fair and he didn't try to sell me on anything. He said my boat was in great shape and didn't need much

I bought a 95 Advantage SR21 with an EFI 7.4. Boat was cutting off at high RPM's took it to Gerry on Thursday about 8am. He was done by 11 and I picked it up about 4. He ran a Dyno and came up with no codes at issues. He fixed a loose ground on tank switch and found a short in my blower. He ran some fuel cleaner and suggest I buy a few more to run another tank full after. I left took the boat out the next day and it ran perfect with zero problems. Not sure if it was the cleaner or the 20 degrees of temperature drop. Nevertheless the boat seems fine now. I found him to be honest and very inexpensive

The fuel pump went out on my 25 horse Merc Outboard.
Took into Gerry's Marine.
Gerry's Marine said it would be $500.00 for the part and $400.00 for labor.
I said: No Thanks.
I purchased the part online for $79.00 with free shipping and it took me one hour to install it.
Moral of this story: "If you try to cheat someone, it come back and bite you"

I had a problem with my boat where another company told me the engine was cracked. With little hope I went to get a second opinion. Gerry helped me out, he was extremely busy and he still made time to help me. He did all kinds of tests on my boat to make sure that there was nothing he could do. He spent the day on it and did not overcharge me at all.
I am in the process of buying a new motor with Gerry and I feel completely comfortable with what he recommends. If you need any marine work done, Gerry is your guy!
He is busy but he is worth waiting for!

This is lesson on how to succeed as a business owner:
Yesterday my son borrowed our boat for a trip to Lake Mohave with his friends for a wedding celebration. At 10 pm I received a call from my son stating the engine was cutting out on his way in to the marina to pickup a couple of late arrivals.
After about an hour of troubleshooting with my son while he was floating in the basin, we determined the problem was probably the "notorious" Volvo-Penta fuel pump issue that has since been updated and re-designed. Apparently, the unit becomes too hot from low flow caused by interior paint
