My name is Cassie Edinger and I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). This is what you need to know about me - I love people and I love the work I do. I operate out of the core belief that you are valuable and important and that you can have hope. I often get asked about the name, Sparrow Counseling.
I work primarily with teens and adults from the age of thirteen and on up. I strive to provide these services in an environment that is warm and inviting. My hope is that you will feel as though you're visiting a friend and talking about your life in a deep and meaningful way. I am excited to offer online video counseling sessions through a secure web platform.
My address is 544 Main St Suite 3. But the strange thing is, Suite 3 is actually a small building behind the main building located at 544. My building used to be a bank teller drive thru and you'll see it once you get on 6th street. If you're coming from the Frankfort side of town you'll come down Washington Street (aka Hwy 60) and you'll turn left on 6th street, which is the first left after you see the yellow building that is the Lesson Barn.
Telehealth has been around for a few years but the events of 2020 for sure have made it the way to get counseling services. But it can be a bit confusing and unnerving in knowing what to expect. My purpose here is to let you know what to expect as we start on our telehealth journey together. I use a secure HIPPA compliant website called Thera-LINK for all virtual appointments.
