When my husband needed to have his HP laptop repaired-it would not open to a screen. We called and took the HP in and Walter not only fixed the computer but made the appropriate changes necessary so that chances are this will not be a problem again! Walter had our HP back in just a couple of days-and that includes it being a holiday weekend!

I needed the data backed up on my computer that had just died.
The owner met up with me downtown at his satellite office after I called, he was ultra responsive to meeting on short notice.
After dropping the computer off with him, he kept me updated and worked around my schedule for a pick up time.
The service charge was very reasonable! I'd recommend Atek for any computer software or hardware issues.

Atek is the model to which every small business should strive: reasonable rates and a quick turnaround on repairs. The proprietor, Walter's, years of expertise and experience are backed by the integrity of his business practices. If he makes a suggestion, follow it; his is not the uninformed upselling of the big box stores. My only regret is that I didn't discover this San Antonio gem sooner - I could have saved myself weeks of frustration dealing with salespersons and managers who lacked basic product knowledge beyond pricetag and whose sense of customer service is nonexistent. I needed to upgrade the RAM in my laptop and was trying to go the DIY route. After purchasing the chip and trying to manage all the hardware to take my laptop apart, I was overwhelmed and knew I would need a professional for the job. My husband found Atek online and called to make sure they were open. At 4:30 on a Saturday, we were pleasantly surprised to hear we could come in for help right away.
