To maintain our reputation as Kingston's premier Hair Salon through continuing education and close tracking of contemporary advances within our industry. 1. Transforming a vision into a desired outcome requires much more than raw artistic ability. The entire staff at Harbor Hair Design frequently attends advanced courses, seminars, in-salon training and trade shows.
Lynn has been a hair stylist since 1973 and a salon owner since 1987. She specializes in Color Correction (including free consultations), Foil Highlighting, Dimensional Color, Texture Services and Style-Cuts. Lynn is currently one of only two Redken Certified Haircolorists on the Kitsap Peninsula, and is currently one of the most active Redken Artist/Educators in the area.
We invite you to address all of your hair care questions to our staff via our Contact page. A. Because they are made with better quality ingredients, don't contain harsh and cheap chemicals and are made in smaller quantities, they are usually targeted to more specific needs than typical grocery/drug store products.
We are seeking recent cosmetology school graduates to train in our part-time or full-time Associate Program. The right candidates must display a sincere enjoyment of cutting, styling, & coloring and a strong desire to continually perfect their craft.
This is a very special, paid training opportunity to quickly build a faithful clientele while learning from a great, professional team - led by a Certified Redken Colorist, and extremely active Redken Artist.Our Associates gain the equivalent of several years worth of experience within their first few months of employment.

The staff at this salon are friendly and the energy of the room as you come in is very pleasant.

Walked into this salon to ask about openings. The woman on the phone did not acknowledge me at all or indicate that she'd chat after she finished her conversation. The conversation about her being a new grandmother went on and on. I left.
Businesses, if walks-ins are truly welcome, a nod of the head or even a gesture to sit down if you are on the phone are just good manners.

This place is awesome, they got my wife in right away! And treated her great! All she will talk about, is how much she loves her hair now!
Cindy was her stylist and did a wonderful job!

A few years ago, I went to this salon, because someone I knew worked there and she did excellent work on my hair. After she left, I had to stop going to Harbor because the owner was so unfriendly and unprofessional. I never let her touch my hair, but heard numerous complaints from other locals about her. If someone won't show their customers they care, I am out of that place.
