As a young girl, Mariela fell in love with floral design when she helped her mom Teofila with her small flower tent in town of Brookshire. As she grew up, Mariela actively sought training and education to help her mom advance in her business. A lover of plants and everything about them, Mariela graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Horticulture.

You can pickup your order as early as the NEXT DAY at our Brookshire Studio located at 4319 S. Front Street Brookshire, Texas 77423. Our hours of operation are Tues. You can pickup your order by appointment only from Wed. through Fri. in the Energy Corridor at our home studio located at 11070 Katy Freeway Houston, Texas 77043.
Casa de Flores did a fantastic job with the flowers at my wedding (November). Mariela set up a meeting promptly and discussed overall style and exact flowers preferred, if any. She offered similar options if working with a budget (which speaks well of the company for wanting to do what is best for the customer and not only for themselves).

I cannot say enough about how amazing and talented Mariela is. During our first call, the only thing I did was show her the dresses my bridesmaids were wearing and said "jewel tones." At that point, I had already scrapped my 150+ person wedding in Puerto Rico, and was getting married down the street from our house in the Houston Heights with 25 of our closest family and friends. I fundamentally did not want to plan a second wedding and gave her little direction. But boy, did she deliver! When I was planning my wedding I knew the florals and decorations would be extremely important for our wedding day. I did a lot of research on who to trust and Mariela at Casa De Flores kept catching my eye. From the very beginning she was warm, welcoming, and extremely talented. Her work speaks for herself, but her service went above and beyond a typical florist. Our wedding was perfect and Casa De Flores played a HUGE role in that. I can’t recommend them enough. They are AMAZING.

Mariela's work with Casa De Flores Design to be simply put is stunning. I always tell my brides the best way to decorate your ceremony and reception is with your florals, and hiring an artist who is talented and can bring your dreams to life is not always an easy feat, but Mariela is truly talented and has an eye for it. Perla and I went to high school together, so I knew as soon as I got engaged that I wanted to use her for my wedding flowers! I am so glad I did! Our flowers were absolutely gorgeous, and exactly what I wanted! They were very flexible with changes we made along the way! Mariela is extremely talented! She blew not only myself and husband away but all of our guests. She was so easy and accommodating to work with through the planning process. After meeting her the first time and giving her a an idea of what we liked I knew we were in the right hands. She worked extremely well with our Wedding designer, Sara Alicia, and when we got back the proposal and sketches we just could not wait for the big day. She as very responsive and detailed. Recently, We purchased floral arrangements for Mother’s Day, and they were fabulous! Her entire Mother’s Day design collection was so thought out and unique I wish I could of bought one of each design.

I have watched Mariela flourish for years! She made my corsages and boutonniere’s in high school for prom (as well as most of the schools). She was awarded with her Texas high school floral certification and went on to study at A&M. It is an honor to know her and watch her succeed. She is hard-working and puts so much love into every design. Each one unique and beautiful. She’s amazing!!!

Mariela and her team are heaven sent! I was having issues with another vendor which I had to let them go 2 weeks before my wedding, but Mariela and her team came to the rescue. I honestly wish I would have found her sooner because she was so easy to work with and has so much talent. The Casa de Flores team put together the most beautiful and perfect arrangements in under 2 weeks and I could not have been happier. Don't think about, just book them!

Mariela was so nice and sweet, unfortunately she was one of the last vendors I booked so we had a tight budget but she was great at recommending different things so I could still get all I wanted and stay… within my budget. Everything looked stunning the day of the wedding, I loved my bouquet, she understood perfectly what I was looking for. We were so pleased with all the arrangements she made for us and she was really helpful! Beautiful person to work with. 💕

She even had developed a Pinterest board specifically for my wedding and allowed me to add/remove flowers so that she could get a better grasp of my vision. Mariela is so sweet and professional! Her work is gorgeous and she goes above and beyond what your vision is. She is also flexible with last minute requests. Her whole team did an amazing job with the florals at my wedding. I received several compliments on the flowers and everyone wanted to take them home!!! Highly recommended!
