Mike Harman is a Luther Graduate with a degree in business and economics. He worked nineteen years at Decorah State Bank/Community First National Bank as a mortgage lender, commercial lender, and president of the bank. After nineteen years at the bank Mike decided to pursue other avenues. He started Harman Realty with his brother Mark in 2005.
Ben Harman graduated from The University of Iowa in 2011. He has been a licensed realtor in Iowa since 2008, and is excited to be working with Harman Realty in his hometown, Decorah. Ben and his wife Jenny live in Decorah, with their daughters Charlotte and Lucy, son Maxwell and dogs Izzy and Desmond.
Elise Skellenger grew up in Lake Mills, Iowa and moved to Decorah in 2008 to attend Luther College. At Luther she studied Business Management and Communications Studies. She lives in Decorah with her dog, Murphy. Elise has purchased three houses through Harman Realty and was very happy with the experiences!
Sara Milburn grew up in northeast Iowa and attended Wartburg College, where she studied accounting and finance. While there, she met her husband Scott. Together they have lived in 3 states before settling in Decorah in 2013. The small town feel, great schools, and closeness to family is what attracted them to this area.

Ben was AMAZING throughout our entire process. He was able to explain details about houses that we would never have thought to even ask about. He had our backs throughout the entire process and took the time to really put us first. We also had the chance to walk through a house with his father Mike, who was also exceptional. I truly believe without the help of the Harman’s, this experience would not have gone as well as it did. We are eternally grateful for everything they did! Thank you x1000000!!!

We can't say enough positive things about Mike Harman and our house buying process. This was the 4th time we've purchased property and Mike ensured that it was the smoothest, calmest, easiest transition we've ever had.
