We proudly serve the J.R. Simplot employees and their families. PSCU was started by a handful of employees who wanted to create a better financial option for the employees of Simplot's Don Plant located in Pocatello, Idaho. We now serve Simplot employees at facilities across the West. Back in 1955, Al Parisot, ran the Credit Union from his accounting desk at the plant in Pocatello.
At that time, employees had to work for Simplot a minimum of 6 months before they were eligible for services. Additionally, PSCU housed only share savings and wrote loans. If the Credit Union didn't have enough money to fund your loan you waited until the deposits came in. Over time the product offering expanded and we became full service.

NOTE: Early withdrawal from certificates will be subject to a 30 day dividend penalty for certificates 6 to 12 months or a 90 day dividend penalty for certificates 18 months and up. Contact your Credit Union to find out if there are any fees on these accounts that could reduce your earnings. My family was a longtime customer of this bank. When my dad passed, they treated us horribly and made us jump through the hoops just to resolve his account. They said in writing that they would not charge fees on the account while we resolved his account, but they did anyway and then repeatedly lied to me on the phone about these representations. There are other banks in town, and I would not recommend using these services. They do not treat customers with respect and are extremely unpleasant.
