Services
Mike Hartzheim and Mary Chiz formed Pulse Design, Inc., a woman-owned business, in the fall of 1996, out of a desire to provide exceptional design solutions that combine print, exhibits and digital media. With their combined years of experience in graphic design and communications, the two founders form the center of a diverse team that is capable of handling a broad spectrum of client needs.
Originating with our roots, we've designed exhibits for some of the largest museums in Chicago. Out of this came a realization that this level of quality interpretation was undeveloped when it came to exploring the great outdoors. After seeing way to many poorly designed trail signs, it has become our mission to make the outdoor classroom an educational experience that is accessible for everyone.
