Named by USA Today as one of the top 20 vegan restaurants in the Southeast, Plant Bae is an all-American vegan restaurant located in downtown Montgomery. While the menu is meat- and dairy-free, the taste is universal. We invite herbivores, omnivores, and anyone in between to try it out so they can say, "I've been Bae'd."
The Plant Bae story started in early 2018, when Dr. Quebe Merritt decided to become vegan. A series of events helped her make the decision. She'd had trouble nursing her daughter and later realized her child did not respond well when she consumed dairy. In addition, a visit to the doctor's office revealed that Quebe's cholesterol levels were higher than normal, thus solidifying her decision to remove meat and dairy from her diet.

I was hoping this was going to be delicious because Vegan Soul food and all but it was NOT.
The mac and cheese was flavorless. The corn bread was a little bigger than a fifty-cent piece and tasted like crumbled fake food. Just plastic.
The collard greens were lacking seasoning and so we're the black-eyed peas. The fried pickles were greasy but the only thing I semi-enjoyed along with the little bit of fries that were given and the spicy fried mushroom burger had sauce coming out of everywhere and was not spicy.
I was very dissapointed considering it's the only Vegan place in Montgomery. I expected

This is sooooooo good. The plant beau burger is astounding. The sauce and the onions. The texture is good, the flavors are good. I can't describe how delicious it was!! I got extra onions and it was worth it. I also ordered a lemonade with lavender and grapefruit. Very gentle flavors and very delicious. I will never forget this restaurant ever. Also, this is coming from a meat loving foodie. Vegan or not, this was to die for. I've ordered it twice now.
....
It's been over a year and I still think about this burger. Even as a carnivore no burger has compared. I live nowhere near Alabama and nothing

I happened to be in Montgomery for business and saw a billboard for Plant Bae. I didn't believe I read it right, that there was a fully dedicated Vegan restaurant in Montgomery. So I had to stop in. For all Vegans traveling through, it is definitely worth a visit. The Beau Burger is amazing. It has a sweet and savoryness that works together beautifully. Also, those wingz with the ( I think it was dill or ranch sauce) were delightful!

I had high expectations considering it being vegan and the prices on everything was unreal. It definitely wasn’t the best. I got a NACHO BAE 12$, THE NOX TAIL 12.50$ had no flavor what so ever. Also got a spicy bae chicken sandwich it was also okay didn’t care for the sweet spicy sauce on it, lemonade was super sweet and a tiger wood, also grabbed some cookies must I mention they was tiniest cookies 3 for 5$ and for a small cup of ranch it was 83¢! all in all our meal was give or take about 50$. The employees started yelling and screaming when 6 o’clock came around I’m assuming they was

Very good customer service. Food was good. The philly cheese bae was the best out of the three we had. We tried the Nachos, and quesadilla. Didn't care for the sweet vibe with the quesadilla, but everything else was good. For the price we would have liked the philly to come with fries(the 4 stars, shouldve been 4.5 but not an option)but still pretty good!
