The business is run poorly. They tout themselves as having great caregivers who they've vetted and trained. That is far from the truth. They sent us a caregiver that was unreliable and in our opinion unstable.
She yelled, ranted and raved in front of us and worse in front of our parent who is dying.
She was combative. She drank beer from our refrigerator without asking and at the beginning of the shift. She did not know how to communicate questions or concerns.
She told us she knew and could work using a different social security number. She confided that at her last non caregiver job she

When my grandfather needed care, we chose Happier at Home and I could not be more pleased with them. My grandfather formed wonderful connections with his companions. The agency was easy to communicate with and they were always helpful. They treated my grandfather like he was their own family and that was so meaningful to me.

I have had the privilege of working with Pat and Lisa, as well as the rest of the staff at Happier at Home care. I have been employed for just over a year now and I would absolutely recommend them as far as a company to work for, they treat all caregivers as if they are family and will do anything to help you. Anytime I was sick not only did Lisa call to check on me but Pat did as well, very nice and very caring ( things like that go a long way). They are some of the most caring people who I have been so lucky to find and become a part of their team! Thanks

I’ve referred to Happier at Home Care since they opened. Personally, my best friend used Lisa and her caregivers to care for her grandfather and my nurse practitioner friend used Happier at Home Care to care for her mother at home. I refer to Lisa because she is a great communicator, responsive, reliable, and I’m always seriously amazed with how she finds these perfect caregivers to match with her clients. For example, my friends grandfather was an Italian, Catholic man that enjoyed talking politics and current events and Lisa paired him with Geraldine whom shared his interests and they grew

Hired staff left without notice leaving us with no care. The company broke the contract with less than 4 hours notice and told us we needed to fine another company. No explanation nothing. Owner sold the business and then had us deal with her husband. They say the right things but we're unable to deliver.
