I am originally from Hastings and moved to Lincoln after graduating High school in 2013. I attended the University of Nebraska - Lincoln for Nutrition and Exercise Science and Bellevue University for Business and Marketing. I'm a people person and enjoy the wellness side of Chiropractic, so this job fits me well.
Chiropractic is about optimizing your overall health by restoring the normal function within your nervous system. The nervous system controls and coordinates the function of all the systems in the body: circulatory, respiratory, digestive, hormonal, eliminative, and immune system. Any aspect of health may be impaired by nerve interference.
We believe that combining acupuncture with chiropractic care allows the patient to reach optimal results more effectively. Dr. Horak uses both needle and needle-less (electrical) forms of acupuncture in the office. Most commonly we treat with electrical acupuncture, which we have found to be the most efficient and effective for most of our patients.

My family and I love getting our weekly adjustment! Our toddler looks forward to going and insists that she goes first. He does a great job on addressing each our needs. During pregnancy he help so much relieve pressure and help adjust my stress points. Mercedes also do an amazing job. She is super friendly and always has a smile on her face.

Dr. Horak provides a gentle chiropractic approach while addressing his patients concerns and gives insight on how to manage the concern moving forward. Mercedes is always a ray of sunshine and is so helpful when answering any billing questions.
Dr. Horak has helped with my back pain, my husband's sinuses and heel pain, my daughter's alignment, and my son's digestive issues. We truly enjoy getting routine adjustments and wouldn't trust anyone else with our chiropractic care.

Dr. Horak does an amazing job. He listens to your concerns and does a great job applying pressure or stretching the areas in need of attention. Dr. Horak works on our family along with two children. Mrs. Mercedes does an excellent job keeping the office in tip/top shape and interacting with our children. She also is a fabulous assistant to the Good Doctor. Keep up the good work.

Dr. Horak and Mercedes are extremely professional and accommodating every time we have an appointment. You can just walk in and I’ve hardly had to wait to get adjusted. My wife and I take our infant daughter to see Matt and he’s helped her with reflux and made sure she is properly aligned for development and growth. They truly make you feel like family and will always greet you with a smile on their faces.

When I first met Dr. Horak I was in constant pain and barely walking. With a walker I could walk a short distance. I explained to Dr. Horak I had never been to a chiropractor and was very skeptic to try, but I needed relief and would try anything. After the initial visit, he explained it would take a few trips to settle the pain down. Imagine my surprise when I had two nights in a row without pain!
Dr. Horak kept encouraging me to do exercises to strengthen my back, and reminding me it would take some time. He kept doing the treatment and I kept returning realizing I could now walk with a cane
