Cherry City Properties is here to serve as the "Reliable Rental Company" for all your relocation and property management needs. We offer rental homes, furnished rental homes, corporate rentals and more. Located just 84 miles east of Portland and 36 miles northeast of Mt. Hood. The Dalles, Oregon an original Port town to The Columbia River Gorge and home to cherry orchards, wineries and the like.
Cherry City Properties was founded in 2009 by Lauren Morgan. Lauren built the company from the ground up after moving to The Gorge from Traverse City, Michigan. Cherry City Properties began managing only long-term rentals but soon added month-to-month and corporate rentals to the inventory. There was a niche in offering month-to-month rentals because an owner would still be able to have their property listed for sale while also collecting rent.
Before submitting an application, please contact Cherry City Properties to verify that a property is still available! All electronic forms will need to be accompanied by copies of photo I.D.'s for Identity Theft purposes. These can be emailed to info@cherrycityprops.com. There will be a non-refundable Application Fee of $35.00 per Application.
We are located at 314 Lincoln Street, The Dalles, Oregon 97058. All rent payments are due on or before the 1st of each month. There is a grace period until the 5th so, a late fee will be assessed starting the 6th of the month. Personal check, money order, or cashiers check are all acceptable forms of payment.

Do Not Rent From Cherry City Properties!!! Worst rental experience ever!!! Rented a house on 12th st in the Dalles the last year and they are a joke. Told us not to patch holes from hanging pictures and then charged us almost 700$ for patching holes designed to hang pictures and patch easy… They say they will landscape and not once did but have no problem taking your money monthly for it. Fence blew over from high winds and they did nothing about it when reported.. Poor management company and very poor service!

Carman is great at property management and only because I had a terrible homeowner that refused to fix basically anything, they were forced to drop the house I have been living in for the past 10+ years. I will say on their behalf they were quick at returning calls and attempting to get issues dealt with. Only the homeowner kept them from Getting needed repairs done. I would recommend Cherry City to anyone that has a good rental history.

Carmen has been fantastic with my rental property. All issues addressed quickly and promptly, responsive to all requests and questions. Pleasant and professional, has been a great experience for my short term residency in The Dalles, first call I could make if I ever have to come back with work again! The maintenance team, Robert and Rick have been wonderful, professional and extremely efficient in addressing all repairs, and considerate about the time in the home, and my work schedule. This is one of the best property management companies in the city of Dallas. Carmen is simply phenomenal. She takes care of both renters and landlords.

My husband and I rented from Cherry City for over three years. Lauren and Irina are a wonderful team who work hard to make sure their tenants are happy. We had the opportunity to rent from the property owner directly as he parted ways with Cherry City, but chose to stick with people we know were on our side! The benefit of a property management company is that all emergent and most non-emergent problems (blow a fuse, tub is leaking, roofing compromised) results in same or next day fixes. Fantastic company to rent from! However, the deposit refund is coming in late of the 31 days a landlord legally
