Your first visit to Holman Orthodontics is an exciting time! It's a chance for us to get acquainted, and for you to learn about the treatments and services we offer. When you walk in the door, you may notice that our office looks similar to your regular dentist's office; what we do here, however, is a little different.
Orthodontists are dental specialists who diagnose and treat problems with the position, alignment or spacing of the teeth, and related irregularities in the face and the jaw. We use a number of special treatments, including braces and other oral appliances, to correct these problems. There are two good reasons: aesthetics and function.
At first, having orthodontic treatment may take a little getting used to. It isn't uncommon to experience a bit of soreness when appliances are first put on, or some minor aches as teeth begin moving into new positions. Yet it's comforting to know that genuine orthodontic emergencies are rare.

You know how important it is to brush and floss properly when you're wearing braces - but what's the best way to do that? Let's start with the basic brushing tools: Either a soft-bristle brush or a bi-level brush (one that has shorter bristles in the middle and longer bristles at the edges) can be effective.

Decided to get braces as an adult so I already knew that wouldn't be much fun. I went to two other places the first one was ok while the other one told me I was too old I was 24yo at the time lol. Then I went to Holman Orthodontics the atmosphere was welcoming , staff was friendly, and the dr. Holman explained the whole process so clearly and went through any concerns I had. It might be a bit pricey but their service is worth every penny. I'm glad I wasn't discouraged by the people that told me I was too old for treatment. I just recently had the braces removed and I could not be

I was so impressed by Dr. Holman and his staff! The office is very pleasant , the staff is friendly and professional. Dr Holman was amazing! He is attentive, caring, explained everything, asked me questions about my oral health regimen, and spent a lot of time with me. I would definitely recommend him highly. I've been to other orthodontists, but he is outstanding! He is very knowledgeable and experienced, and treats patients with respect. It is obvious that he loves what he does.

I usually don't leave reviews on non-food related businesses but Holman Orthodontics will be my exception. Right off the bat they made me feel like family, I instantly decided to not visit any other offices and get my braces here. I've been with them for over 3 years now and I'm so happy with my smile. I visit every couple months to get my retainer check & it doesn't matter how much time has passed... I still get greeted and treated as family. Dr Holman, Stacey & Jenny are amazing. I will definitely recommend coming here for your braces!

I love Holman Orthodontics. I've had three of our children get braces from Dr. Holman and he has done a beautiful job. If I had known about him when my daughter had her braces done I would have gladly switched to Dr. Holman. Our dentist even commented on how precise and aligned our children's teeth are. He said he had never seen such care for correct bite and alignment.
The office staff is great. I would recommend Dr. Holman to anyone.

If I could give a ten star rating I would! I was referred to Dr. Holman by my regular dentist for orthodontic work. At the age of 27, that's something that I wasn't too excited about even knowing in the long run I'd be much happier. My 1st visit was such a great experience, from the front staff, to the great assistants (Susan and Mindy) to the Dr. himself. Susan made me feel comfortable and at ease with the whole thought of metal braces.I had my braces on for about 18 months and recently got them removed.
