Apex is garbage. I purchased a townhome in the "exclusive" magnolia townhomes subdivision 2 years ago 5 Jan 2019 For 250k.
As of today 3 feb 2021 the secured gated community still does not have a working gate. Now we are being told that the cost to replace the gate that was never fully operational needs to be replaced at a cost of 6000 to be passed on to homeowners they the astronomical HOA of 195 / month.
Now the HOA fee would not be bad if there was any actual amenities. The do not take care of the flower beds. The dumpster is in full open view. This builder doesn't even care enough

The absolute WORST customer service I've ever encountered in my life. The owner Brock will not return phone calls, so I can't say I have had a bad experience with him, haven't had one. Jeff talks a big game but can't back anything up and SUCKS at communication. He says things he has not right to say, like first payment won't be due for 90 days, wrong; we'll do this, this, and this for you, wrong. William was very helpful and the mortgage person they connected us with was AMAZING, but the people who actual run things in the company, they are horrible. Glad we had to

The most horrific experience I've ever encountered with a so-called 'professional' and business. Brock Johnston, Owner, Apex of Texas Homes, LP (201 W Bufford, Suite 101 Burleson, TX 76028), was sent a formal communication to terminate our contract by my fiance and I. We were unable to reach a satisfactory agreement, in completing the project due to the following: timeliness of performance, nonperformance by the contractor or subcontractors, lack of communication (mainly by Brock) and the inability to fulfill numerous client requests to keeping us abreast throughout the process—more specifically

I have worked with Apex Homes and Brock Johnston on hundreds of his home projects over the past several years, and am highly impressed with Brock's attention to detail of a newly built home. His style and eye for design elements are only to be found here. My wife and I are in the market for a new home now, and would consider Brock to be at the top of our list.
