My greatest passion has always been to help others and through the years, I have noticed that every person has different needs at different stages of our lives. My goal has always been to bring a smile to people's days. I have been part of Dr. Amundson's team since 1988 and graduated from the University of North Dakota in 1986 with a degree in business.
Dentistry is a way for me to improve the lives of others; whether it is through the relief of pain, restoring a wonderful smile, or improving their health, I enjoy making each patient's day better. I grew up in Grand Forks and returned after completing dental school. This community has made me the person I am, has been good to me throughout my life, and now I'm able, through my profession, to give back to my neighbors.
Dr. Roger Amundson and Dr. Scott Amundson, along with our team, respect you as an individual. We've served the Grand Forks area since 1988, growing by word-of-mouth: it is an honor to have our patients recommend us to their friends and family and we strive to live up to those recommendations.
I have received excellent care from Dr. Amundson and his wonderful staff for I guess 20 years now. They are the best and I no longer have to pry my fingers off of the dentist chair when they're done with me. Virtually pain free! This is something I don't use lightly. I came with my wife for her appointment and happened to ask how busy they were.

During my visit, I was helped by Kim, Rachael, and Dr. Amundson. They were all wonderful, caring people, and very helpful throughout the whole process. They had me in their office within an hour of me calling, and I received a temporary filling to even out the jagged edge of my chipped tooth and alleviate the pain in my tongue. Overall, the experience was one of the best I have had in the medical industry, and I highly recommend choosing Amundson for all your dental needs.

Kim was so kind to get me in at a moment's notice when a couple of my teeth were messed up. She got me in quickly to see Dr. Roger, but also the next day for an emergency root canal fix. Dr. Roger has always been so kind and he is an excellent dentist. Kim is one of the nicest receptionists I have ever met. Kristen, one of the staff assistants was also cheerful, kind and competent. I would recommend them highly to anyone.

Hands down the best service I have ever received from any dentist or medical provider of any kind! From the moment I called to set up an appointment till the moment I left every interaction was great. Kim had a great attitude on the phone and I could tell she truly wanted to get a chance to earn my business. She emailed me a reminder before and a thank you after as well. Right when I walked in the door, Kim was quick to welcome me and had a very positive and almost contagious attitude. She even came out from behind her desk to shake my hand an properly introduce herself. Bree did an excellent job

I have been going to this dental office for a couple of years now with my husband. I was a little apprehensive as my last dentist was rough. Upon first walking in the door, Kim at the front desk was amazingly sweet and kind. I walked back with another hygienist who has since retired but was equally sweet throughout the whole process and told me all about Roger before he even walked in the room. Roger was gentle and caring as well. He took very amazing care to help correct issues and always explained things I didn't understand.
