Eddie's Tree Service is run by Eddie Wisdom who holds certifications with the United States Forest Service as a professional sawyer. He worked with the United States Forest Service in Wyoming and Colorado on a fire crew restoring tornado damaged areas and keeping tree populations healthy in the Black Hills National Forest and Canyon City region of Colorado.
He adapted his knowledge of rural tree work to a suburban environment while working with Marquis Tree based in Billerica, MA, and the Tree and Land Trust owned and run by arborist Brian Murray, based in Arlington, MA. Eddie has been running Eddie's Tree Service for over 7 years now serving hundreds of happy customers in greater Bostons most beloved neighborhoods.

Eddies Tree Service works with minimal overhead leaving a wide margin between our business expenses and a large company's pricing. With this minimal overhead we aim to price jobs at two thirds what a large company would, which makes customers happy while still yielding a healthy profit, which makes us happy.
Postponing tree removal will only make it more expensive. If the tree is alive and encroaching, it will only grow larger. If the tree is dead, as it decomposes it loses structural integrity making it more and more hazardous to remove. In some cases the tree is felled outright, in most cases it will have to be pieced down using ropes and pulleys.
We prune trees for health, structural integrity and safety, as well as aesthetic purposes. It is less expensive to regularly maintain your trees than neglect them only to clean up the resulting damage. Don't wait for a storm to identify trees that should have been pruned years earlier. Pruning improves the health, safety and appearance of your trees.
Ever since we were kids we enjoyed the thrill, serenity and enchantment of having a tree house. That childlike excitement for living in trees still beats in our hearts. Our main goal is to bring your vision for your dream treehouse to life which means we listen and work with you every step of the way.
We have been milling large hardwood trees into live-edge slabs ranging from very small to 4' x 12'. These pieces, after two years of seasoning, will be worked into beautiful dining room tables, bar tops, desks and anything else the imagination holds. Let us know the project you have in mind and we will work with you selecting your piece of wood and reserve it for you until they are dry and ready to work with.

From our very first contact, Eddie was responsive, knowledgeable, and friendly.
We live in a three-family house with a self-managed association. Behind the house, our parking lot was overrun with trees that haven't been maintained in years. When Eddie came out to give us a quote, he quickly identified the species worth saving, and explained his plan to clean up the space while saving as much greenery as possible.
It was immediately clear Eddie is passionate about trees.

Eddie and his crew did an outstanding job removing a large Norway Maple from our yard. We needed it removed urgently after a storm. Eddie came to look things over on a weekend and got us on to his packed schedule within two days. He and his crew did a great job cleaning up and made sure the job was done right. I would highly recommend Eddie and his team.

Eddie did a fantastic job removing a large pine tree that partially fell in our yard during a recent storm, as well as 3 other damaged trees. He was very responsive, coming over first thing in the morning after we called and completing all of the work that day.
Eddie was very knowledgeable about all of the work that needed to be done, including removing part of the tree that could have damaged our neighbor’s property. I would definitely trust Eddie with any future tree work we might need. He was also very diligent with cleaning any debris from our yard, as well as two of our neighbors’ yards
