Founded in 1947, Appalachian Tire Products, Inc. now operates 11 stores located in West Virginia, Kentucky, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee.
We also have a state-of-the-art Goodyear Authorized Retread plant. Located in the heart of coal country, we specialize in underground mine tires and wheels. Appalachian Tire employs approximately 100 people and has more than 75 vehicles to help meet our customers' needs. For our medium commercial truck tire customers with Goodyear and Michelin National Accounts, we provide 24 hour emergency road service.

To serve the underground mining community, Appalachian Tire sells and services the very best: Goodyear, Michelin, and Super Grip. Goodyear underground mine tires provide a complete range of bias and radial mine tires to provide optimum tread wear, traction and cut resistance. Goodyear Permafoam provides a cushioned ride that never goes flat.
Appalachian Tire sells Goodyear, Kelly, Dunlop, Michelin, BFGoodrich, and Dynacargo medium commercial truck tires. Service is available 24 hours a day through the 4-TIRES-NOW program by calling 1-877-484-7376, for Goodyear and Michelin customers. Appalachian Tire has a state-of-the-art Goodyear authorized retread plant located in Norton, Virginia.
For over 60 years, Appalachian Tire has been selling and servicing large off-the-road tires. This business requires special equipment and highly trained technicians. Don't buy tires from this company. They said their tires are life warranty, no no no it's not!!Ihad a flat tired few months ago, when I call to the company I told them I moved out of the state they said no pro, they told me to get a new tires from other shops and will send me a check with my orginal price tires, they said it will take up to 6 weeks to process, and then guess what, it's took 2 months or so i didn't hear anything from them,( now is I over 6 months ) every time I called the guy name "rick Hunter" says they are doing the processing and writing a check
