What started as a birthday party on a summer day in Oregon quickly grew into a global sensation with classes springing up worldwide. Lainey has worked in the business development and marketing fields and is an award-winning photographer, author, mental health advocate and motivational speaker.
Services
Original Goat Yoga TM wasn't anticipated. There were no business plans or focus groups to point the way. However, its core existed in the form of a nightly farm walk that visitors came to know as "Goat Happy Hour." Those walks led Lainey Morse to understand that she was essentially 'farming happiness' by delivering animal therapy in the form of attention seeking goats and rural vistas.
What do you do when you've just been diagnosed with an incurable autoimmune disease, you are going through a divorce, and your job of ten years is winding down? Do you throw caution to the wind and start something the world has never known, or do you play it safe? Playing it safe was not an option for Lainey Morse.
The happy distractions and joy provided by goats helped Original Goat Yoga's founder cope with difficult times Unexpectedly, goats were also the reason for goat yoga's surprising longevity. The naysayers that predicted goat yoga would be a fad on par with pet rocks and mood rings have been more quiet after several years of goat yoga's explosive growth, increasing popularity, and its use as a foundation of agritourism.
No, we do not allow spectators at our class. We want everyone to have the best experience and sometimes people feel uncomfortable when they feel other people are watching. Goat Happy Hour is a trademarked term meaning goat therapy. Every Goat Yoga class is followed by Goat Happy Hour. This is the time to snuggle goats, take goat selfies, learn more about the goats or have a farm tour.
Interested in opening your own Goat Yoga business? We have partnered with people throughout the USA to help them "farm happiness" via their goats. Licensing our brand and know-how ensures that processes are in place to make your business run smoothly and successfully. Our licensing model is designed for people who just don't have time to do it all.

Very fun experience for the whole family! You don't go to goat yoga to do yoga, you go to see the goats, and they delivered. The goats were adorable and friendly. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly as well. My family and I had a great time!

The goats were incredibly cute, and there was yoga, but not a lot of effort put in otherwise. The description of the event stated there would be a goat themed happy hour. Based on the gallery I expected the owners would dress the goats in their cute holiday sweaters, provide an alcoholic drink, and I don’t know, maybe play Christmas music? It may be an odd thing to complain about, but I purchased this as a gift thinking it would be all done up. My partner and I had high expectations, and unfortunately there were no cute sweaters or adult drinks. Just cider, hot cocoa and cookies. It seemed very
