The knowledgeable staff at Decatur Family Eye Care is experienced in working with vision insurance providers. We will work directly with you and your vision insurer to submit claims regarding your vision care. We strive to ensure that you understand your insurance coverage and will answer any questions you may have regarding your benefits.
Dr. Jonathan Davis is an optometrist in Decatur, AL, providing complete eye care services for the surrounding communities. Dr. Davis graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham's School of Optometry in. Dr. Davis' special interests are primary eye care, ocular disease, contact lenses, and working with children.
Dr. Davis and the Decatur Family Eye Care team take even routine eye exams very seriously. During a yearly or bi-yearly examination, our Decatur patients will receive a patient history review, a series of vision and eye tests, assessments of eye focusing and movement, and an eye health evaluation. Our optometrist will discuss any additional testing that may be required to diagnose an eye disease or condition.

My sister and I had an appointment yesterday with Dr. Davis. We were very happy with our experience. We were taken care of immediately and greeted as soon as we came in. The staff is extremely friendly, polite and knowledgeable. Dr Davis was very kind and made us very comfortable and took very good care of us. We would definitely recommend him and his staff!!

My doctor is Dr. Davis, but I had to go in on Monday thinking I had an eye infection. Dr. Coggin was my doctor today and she is absolutely wonderful! I am very pleased with the care I've received every time I've gone in. I'm glad Dr. Davis has Dr. Coggin as part of the team. The whole office staff is friendly and very attentive.

This is a very professional yet so courteous group. The office staff is so nice to deal with even had me checked in before I made it to the counter. The technicians are very friendly and easy to work with. I don't hear as well as I once did and they made sure to speak so that I easily heard. Dr. Davis is a very caring and sincere person who is very much on top of his profession. I can't say enough good about them.

I have always gone to Marx Optical for my eye care. On my last visit, I wanted contacts but they failed to find me a comfortable pair. I decided to try another office. Dr. Davis found me a prescription and pair that are comfortable and not blurry. The entire staff is friendly. I didn't have to wait for my appointment. The office is clean. Definitely recommend EVERYONE go to Decatur Family Eye Care.

The whole team at Decatur Family Eye Care does a wonderful job of taking care of their patients. The office staff is friendly and helpful. The technicians that see you before the doctor are the best ever. I wear hearing aids and even with them, hearing is difficult under certain conditions. Mackenzie (sp?) talked clearly and loudly enough that I never missed a word she said. The hearing aid technicians don't even do that! She was very friendly, nice and professional. When I had a question she couldn't answer herself, she asked the doctor. Dr. Davis is friendly, caring and interested in his patients
