Just got my hair done here and couldn't be happier with the results!! Danielle did an amazing job!! I was really nervous to get a blonde color but she made it look so good! The staff was very welcoming!! I would definitely recommend!

It was my first time coming to this place and upon arrival I noticed there was 3 people by the reception desk, a man and 2 women. I walked in with a smile saying hello and just instantly felt a feeling of unwelcomeness. You would've thought that with new customers you would be greeted with "Hi, how are you? What can we help with?" Instead I was greeted with "What did you need?" Apart of me wanted to leave but I was desperate for a cut before leaving to the bahamas the next day.
I give this place 3 stars only because of the woman who did my service was very knowledgeable about hair and told me

I used a Groupon for my first visit to Headlines...a birthday cut and root touch-up with Dana. So glad I did!

I believe Dana is fairly new to this salon, but seems to have LOTS of great experience as she did a fantastic job on both the color and cut, offered a lot of helpful advice on how to care for my hair at home and kept up great conversation the whole time. I even got a little goody bag when I left!

Pricing is in line with other salons in the area and the location is convenient to my home and there is plenty of parking in the metered lot across the street (also metered street spots

I just moved to Philadelphia and I think I found my go-to place. Like many first time customers I got the Groupon deal for color cut and conditioning treatment. I was not disappointed! Cheryl gave me a fantastic cut- my hair now feels clean, healthy and smooth. I am very picky with highlights and have had bad experiences before. My hair now looks brighter- but still natural.

Ultimately- headlines is the kind of salon we take for granted- it has a friendly mom-and-pop feel, but the stylists are very knowledgeable and experienced.

Went to have my hair done and I used my birthday Groupon. The lady helping me said she would not honor it? I'm only 18 and had no idea what she meant however the owner quickly intervened and I was seated with this lady who actually did a fabulous job. The owner told me you have to read the Groupon and it specifically says you must call and schedule with such and such stylist? So lesson learned. Although I had this initial hiccup my hair turned out beautifully. I would go again.

Samantha was very welcoming and extremely conscientious about applying my hair color. The place was neat, clean and relaxing. Being from out of town, I am always a little leery of unknown salons. Great experience!

Love my haircut and color, thanks Dana! It was my first visit and felt like i have been coming here for years, absolutely talented people here so happy to have found this place, a gem for sure.

Got a wonderful cut and balayage by Danielle...she was both super friendly and super talented. Used the "50% off your first service coupon," but still ended up paying $96 (+ an additional $20 tip) for my cut and color. Without the coupon, it would have been pretty expensive.

I discovered this salon through a groupon. From my experience, some salons treat you differently and give you less service because you are using a groupon. NOT THIS PLACE! This place was so fantastic in every way. Danielle took what I wanted and made my dreams a reality. She is super friendly and sweet. They also offer a $25 gift card for you or a friend to use on your next visit! I will definitely be back here :)

Terrific customer service. Went there on a Groupon and was greeted by a friendly warm staff, who immediately made sure I was comfortable. I discovered this salon through Yelp about a year ago and took the chance of coming here based on my fellow Yelper's reviews and plus their 50% off discount for first timers. I'm so glad I made that decision.

After going to the same salon for most of my life, I decided to take the risk and opt for a change. I had my hair dyed elsewhere which turned into a brassy color and needed a revival of color and cut. I made an appointment with Danielle to fix my color and get a trim. She was so nice and friendly and she did a great job on saving my hair. I actually received so many compliments

I have been trying to find a hairstylist closer to Havertown and have had some bad haircuts. I think I've finally found a replacement! Danielle was great and listened to my ideas. Everyone there was friendly and the place is well decorated and clean. Definitely will be going back to try out coloring next!

Horrible customer service. I booked a hair appointment for my girlfriend on Saturday. She needed a cut, style, and hair color. I told them we couldn't do anything before 5:30 as she has to work. They informed me there wouldn't be enough time for all of that since they close at 7:30pm. I asked what about just a color then? They informed me they could do the color and it would take a couple hours. I told them we would be coming from Philly and we would make it as close to 5:30 as possible. They told me ok and booked the appointment.

I needed a change from my previous salon and I went here on a friend's recommendation. Turned out to be a top notch experience. Personable and friendly staff. Updated décor and clean atmosphere. Had my appointment with Joe, and I asked him to change it up. Afterwards it looked great. I've never received so many compliments from friends and family on a cut. I have been going back ever since. I love headlines hair! Not only are they really nice and professional, but hair looks amazing! I used to go to Joseph Anthony's but I decided to give them a try because they were offering 50% off of either a cut or a color for a new client. They just got a lifelong client with me! Elena did my hair she cut off a couple inches and gave me bangs. Best hair cut I ever had. I couldn't recommend them more! I don't know how long they are offering that 50% of either a cut or color for new clients, but I would go soon!

Very disappointed with their poor management , age discrimination , and disrespect of people's time . They put another customer in front of my daughter's ( 5 year old ) appointment, we arrived less than 8 minutes late , and I was told that we are late ( it was a messy rainy morning ) no consideration what so ever . Then the stylist we booked with said that she is dying another customer 's hair and she offered us either to wait 20-25 minutes or come back later in the day !! Salon owner was obviously ok with that because he was there but did nothing to help .

I came here a few months ago with a Groupon to get my hair cut and have a Moroccan oil treatment done. Why it took me so long to write this review, I have no idea, because the service was great! Unfortunately I can no longer remember my stylist's name but she was very professional and cut my hair exactly how I asked (I also showed her a few pictures for reference). The treatment left my hair feeling nice and soft but I'm not sure it was special enough to pay for it sans Groupon.

I'm always a little apprehensive trying a new place with a Groupon, especially when there are scissors

I purchased a Groupon for $45 and got a haircut, style, single process and full highlights which was really worth it for the hour drive it took me to get there.
Samantha did my hair and she was great. She was friendly and helpful. The highlights came out nice but not really the color I wanted. The picture I showed had more of a red tone than honey tone. I only got a trim so can't really comment on the haircut.

The only thing I was not impressed about was the lady who washed my hair. I've gotten great hair washes in the past so I have pretty high standards (if you've ever been
