Engineered hardwood flooring features a real wood surface layer with an internal core. The real wood veneer surface layer offers the style and unique look of natural solid hardwood planks. The internal core offers durability that one can't find with solid wood flooring. The internal core can be made of plywood, particle board, medium-density fiberboard or real wood.

More like dishonest, Sandra is the one who help us remodel the business which she accepted and did not have enough workers at all. She delayed the project and we let it go because we was being patients and she delay it again 3 more times! When we ask questions, she was not straight forward. Work was half done and charged us double as if it was finish and the finishing was horrible.

Honest Home refinished the flooring in my 110 year old house. There was a paint or some other coating on the original pine sub floors of the home and we initially feared it would take longer to get the sanding process done. To our surprise though it was done not only on time, but with much care. HH didn't have as dark of a color stain in stock as I wanted initially, but went beyond and found an acceptable substitute to try and we ended up with a gorgeous (not yellow at all) pine floor! The update was just what the house needed and I am so happy to have worked with Sandra and her crew on getting

I've been admiring Honest Home since it was Bluegrass Green Co. and moved onto East Market Street.
I appreciate this store's devotion to green and recycled building products. The store's owner, Sandra, is so approachable, and you can tell she's passionate about this.
Alas, I have not yet had a need for their building products. But I have purchased several of the gift items they have in the store -- another reason to check it out!
Honest Home carries this fun line of cards with cut-out birds to be used in mobiles. It also has kits to build your own toys, and for Christmas

Couldn't be happier. Although we live in IL we contacted BlueGrass to try to find healthy products for sealing our deck. I have bad MCS and wanted earth and people friendly products. Tony and Sandra were amazing! Tony sent all kinds of product details via email and Sandra shipped little samples so I could see if I reacted. We ended up using a Vermont Natural Coatings product and the person who applied it for us loved it! We will continue to work with Bluegrass whenever we can! Great service!
