Our firm expanded in number, as well as practice areas, in 2012 when we welcomed David J. Weidman, and amended our firm name to Sergovic, Carmean & Weidman, P.A. As a result of the merger, we welcomed attorneys Deirdre A. McCartney and Shannon R. Owens as well as George B. ("Buck") Smith, who is of Counsel, and the firm name was changed to Sergovic Carmean Weidman McCartney & Owens, P.A. Harold W.T. Purnell, II, joined our firm in 2018.
Rachel Bleshman joined the firm as an associate attorney in 2017 and Katie Geiszler joined the firm as an associate attorney in 2021. Jaime Edwards joined our firm in 2020 as a law clerk, however, he is a licensed attorney in Maryland.

A free class is being offered to the public at the Georgetown Public Library, located at 123 West Pine Street, Georgetown, Delaware and the Lewes Public Library located at 111 Adams Avenue, Lewes, Delaware.
