Dental emergencies can occur at virtually any time. They can be uncomfortable, frightening and even frustrating. If left untreated, a dental emergency can get worse, cause an abscess or result in further oral injury. For this reason, it is crucial that you come into the office as soon as you begin experiencing an emergency.
Dental x-rays are an integral part of your oral health and hygiene. A full set of x-rays should be taken every three years and only several x-rays are required at your bi-annual appointments. If you are dealing with a dental emergency or other dental procedure, additional x-rays are needed. These images help our doctors to see your teeth, gums and bone in a completely different way.
A dental exam helps to check for signs of decay and other intraoral problems like loose teeth, fillings and bridge work. A cleaning is performed by a dental hygienist and is done to remove tartar and hardened plaque from your teeth. During a cleaning, your gums will be checked for signs of gingivitis and gum disease.
Fluoride treatments are designed to strengthen your teeth and make them less prone to decay. Once a tooth has become decayed, a filling or root canal is needed to retain the integrity of the structure itself. Fluoride helps to prevent cavities from forming in the first place. It is ideal for children as well as adults who are looking to protect their teeth.

Customer satisfaction is always related to the experience and care received.
First and, unfortunately, not the best experience at this dental shop.
1. I felt that cashing in my money and insurance was more important than my dental needs—it seemed I had to spend $4K on “possibly needed” dental work before the end of the year because it would max my insurance claim?!?
2. During my routine cleaning, I had the impression I was provided a “sub-standard” cleaning because I did not need a deep cleaning?!?
3. As I received care for a decaying tooth needing a root canal, I cried from the pain

To say I was nervous is an understatement. I was terrified. I have lots of dental work ahead of me. But after my first interaction, we came up with a plan. I had the costs broken out and so now I know what to tackle first. Hopefully, by summer I'll have a movie star smile and can chew on both sides of my mouth!

Great experience! Teeth cleanings aren’t the most enjoyable experience but they make it less terrible. The staff was very friendly and communicative throughout the whole process walking me through the process as well as any associated costs and concerns. The cleanings were pretty quick and thorough and virtually painless.

Just recently moved here from another state, thought I would of never find a dentist like J&A Family. What a great experience, since I've been afraid of a dentist since I was small. Dr Jeffrey, made my experience exceptional. I would recommend him and his team to everyone. Very gentle and communication exceptional. I've had an implant don'e this time and i wouldn't go anywhere else; if anyone is looking for a great dentist, don't look any further. The best is at J&A Family Dentistry.

I actually went to J&A for a second opinion. I hadn't questioned that I needed work but the price tag of my current dentist had gotten astronomical. Before I spent any more money, I wanted another expert to tell me what treatment plan they felt was needed and an estimate of costs.
The appointment process and check in was so friendly and yet still professional. Everyone seemed genuine. This held over to the dental assistant and Dr. Colin. The process was thorough and organized. He covered the issues he saw, discussed immediate concerns and future watch-outs. I normally get anxious at dental visits

I've been to J&A 3 times now. All 3 were just cleanings...always professional, they do a thorough job. the last time I went, a couple of days ago, they found some fractures on one of my teeth. I thought it was going to be in the thousands to fix...turns out it's not even a thousand. so I was happy about that. I'm going to stick with J&A for quite some time. I'm very happy with their services.

Received a promotion in the mail for 59$ X-ray & Cleaning, and made a terrible mistake booking an appointment. 45Minutes of the dental hygienist taking X-rays and pictures of my mouth, normal small talk, then the Doctor who right off the bat feels like a con artist walks in the room, tells a few bad jokes and the explains what is happening inside my mouth. The dental hygienist had already filled me in on my current "active infection" occurring in my mouth call Periodontal Disease. Sounds really bad right, well these two are trying to convince me that I have active bacteria eating

Best Dental practice ever! I would definitely recommend them to everyone! I went in nervous/anxious due to my previous dental experiences but from the minute I walked in I was greeted by the lovely front desk. This guys are AMAZING!! They do a really good job and treat you the best way it can be, Celestina, Loretta and the Doctor Colin are excellent people and they explain you every step and give you the best advice, i really recommend it, it is for sure the best here in Kyle, if i could give them 10 start I definitely would
