Founded in 2003 as a subsidiary company of Maine Labpack, Inc., MLi Environmental began in the Greater Portland, Maine area providing environmental health and safety audits to schools and hazardous waste generators. As the needs of our customers grew, MLi followed. We have become a leader in international and domestic certified dangerous goods shipping and hazardous waste services across New England.
For over a decade, MLi has provided personalized and comprehensive hazardous and non-hazardous waste management services to meet customer's needs throughout all of New England. Our relationship with a broad variety of disposal outlets allows for our trained and professional drivers and environmental chemists to effectively manage all of your waste streams.
MLi Environmental offers a wide variety of hazardous waste removal services. We are able to handle all waste streams from bulk solvent waste, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), to the recycling of obsolete electronics. By employing our various disposal outlets, MLi is your one-stop vendor for all your disposal needs.
Lab packs are a method of packaging small containers of compatible chemicals for shipment and disposal. Any container larger than 5 gallons is considered a bulk hazardous waste. Lab packs are segregated and inventoried into compatible groups such as acids, bases, flammables, and toxics. The containers are "padded" with a material like vermiculite for absorbance and protection during transport.
Many of the facilities we service produce hazardous and non-hazardous waste in large amounts as a byproduct of their processes which requires bulk waste disposal services. MLi Environmental is able to safely manage your regular drum waste pickups and ensure waste is properly disposed of. Bulk containerized waste includes waste that is packaged into drums ranging from 5 to 55 gallons in size up to intermediate bulk containers (IBCs).

Main Lab Packs are very professional, from contacting the office to interacting with the techs in the field. I like the fact that you take the waste to the truck and they take care of it from there. You don't need to stick around and oversee it. They bring the paperwork to you when they're done. I've been using Maine Lab Packs for almost 6 years and never had any issues at all. Trustworthy.
